A Brewtiful Horror

Am I back, or is this just a one off episode? I'm not sure yet. Anyway...here's an update on my life.

This was not an easy episode to make. It's been a fun year and a half, but the time has come to say "goodbye." Let's see where the next chapter of life takes me.

It's time to close some chapters in my life, and start new ones.

2024 was a rough year, but it taught me lessons I needed to learn. Time to apply those lessons to 2025 and on. I also discuss my goals for 2025. (I apologize for the length of the episode!)

Christmas is just a few days away, so it's time to talk about one of the best Christmas movies...Die Hard!

I am back! The time away was much needed, but I was anxious to do more episodes. I just got back from a Disney vacation with some of my family, so I figured I'd talk about it.

Since Alien: Romulus is out this weekend, I decided to do one of the originals, and everyone voted for me to do the original of the originals. In this episode I talk about my introduction to the Alien films, and how I've learned to appreciate Alien more and more as time has gone on.

This is definitely one of the hardest episodes I've done. In it I discuss the downsides of my relationship with alcohol, and the negative effects it has had on my life. (Skip to the 30 min mark if you don't want to listen to the intro stuff)

New show schedule, what I learned from my July detoxes, a few books I've read/been reading, etc. I'm so thankful for it all.

I'm back...for now. It's been an eventful few weeks, and my 40's didn't start as planned...but as the Broadway song says, "there's nowhere to go but up from here."

The final BTB episode of my 30's, and the last episode for a while. In this episode, I recap things I've learned in my 30's and talk a little about the next decade.

Some exciting changes are happening, and I get to talk about them! Also, since I am turning 40 this month, I talk about some things I've learned/realized through the years, and things I hope to carry with me into the next decade of my life.

I am tired as hell, but I still wanted to talk about my first time watching Vamp. I also drink a tasty Blood Peach Otter from Vasen.

This episode almost didn't happen. I've been dealing with some stuff lately and almost didn't record, but I really wanted to talk about this movie, so sit and listen to me chat about The Autopsy Of Jane Doe, while sipping on THE west coast IPA from Väsen Brewing.

Since I'm getting tattooed next week, I figured I'd share my tattoo journey: the good, the bad, and the painful. I did leave some of the really gruesome stuff out though. I don't want anyone getting an upset stomach if they're listening on their lunch break.

Today I sit with my good friend and roommate, Bob. We discuss the 2008 French movie, Martyrs, meanings in the movie, our love of horror in general, and even Ed Sheeran...all while drinking beer that his dad brewed.

After taking a week off, I am back! While sipping on some of Old City Coffee's Horticultural Blend coffee, I fill everyone in on my time off, before talking about 2015's Exeter.

I think this is officially the longest episode now. I actually had to stop myself from talking on this one. I talk about how lo-fi music makes me feel at peace, my recent experience on a YouTube livestream, my love of video games, and motivation (or my lack thereof).

One of my most ridiculous titles yet. It's probably fitting though, as I talk about my updated thoughts on the 2003 movie Jeepers Creepers 2. I also talk about the Quaid brothers and the Bacon brothers. And Meatloaf.

The Valentine's Day episode. I talk about how 90's shows and movies affected my life and my view on relationships. Plus other ramblings as always.

I swear I'm not that tired! Between my awkwardness, I discuss another goal for this year, as well as the movie Pandorum...all while drinking a pecan pie stout.

This might be one of the hardest episodes I've done about myself. I had an idea going in, but fear took over. I decided to continue anyway and talk about some things no one knows about me.

You don't know about The Tallbirds 1 through 6, but you do get to find out about number 7. Listen to me be weird (it's lack of sleep, I swear!), drink the stout that was voted on by IG followers, and talk about the Jessica Biel movie that was directed by the same guy that did Martyrs.

I've been thinking for a while about how to speak about this all, but I feel like I need to do it. I just hope it works out.
