Season 2 Episode 4 - February 21, 2025In this episode we are welcoming our first ever guest to the pod, Sterling Moon! Sterling is an author, teacher, medium, paranormal explorer and witch. Sterling’s book ‘Talking to Spirits’ hit the shelves in February 2023 and just a few months later that same book came flying off the shelf at the shop Amanda was working at encouraging her to read it. Sharing the book and experience with Luna started the pair on a journey participating in Sterling’s annual (free!) When one journey ends, a new one is sure to begin! As we close this chapter while also closing the distance between our physical vessels we prepare ourselves for what comes next: A new Frightfully Delightful adventure is upon us! Luna shares a possible encounter with a Marsh Mimic while trying to record the peepers (and their “pond lovin”, thanks for pointing that out Ryan lmao!). Amanda reads a beautiful poem by William Moore and gets humbled by moss while preparing Luna’s new house for her arrival.  You may have noticed we removed our Land Acknowledgements from the opening of our pod. We are making changes to how we approach land acknowledgements, that represent our current understanding of Indigenous Sovereignty and how to show up as meaningful accomplices in Land Back efforts and initiatives. We are always striving to show up and listen, learn and commit to action. This was sparked by a powerful conversation started by Relentless Indigenous Woman on her socials. The Haunted Bucketlist is a new series on the Frightfully Delightful Podcast. In this series we explore various haunted locations (mostly Canadian) that are on our “Haunted Bucket List” to one day visit. The goal is to hopefully visit these places one day and check them off our Haunted Bucket List! One of our biggest challenges with Frightfully Delightful is that we are many kilometres apart in different provinces (for now). So we can’t exactly go exploring all the spooky haunted places together IRL… YET. The Haunted Bucklist is our workaround for that.
