We are again back after a lot of craziness happening this past few months. We are all surviving right now and have to stay positive.

We have been moving and taking care of our health, but we are ready to get back to business and raise awareness about epilepsy.

We are a non profit organization raising much needed awareness about epilepsy. The founder had epilepsy and his wife works with him as both a caregiver and business partner. Their mission is to get more research to find a cure and also make sure that all those with epilepsy or other brain disorders keep fighting everyday to have a better tomorrow.

Seizures can be placed in many categories based on the parts of the brain in which they occur. There are over 40 types of seizures.

Taking a break is always important and sometimes leaving your home is healthy.

This is a tool that helps doctors diagnose epilepsy by finding irregular electrical activity in the brain.

Bruno Fiacco, CEO of AHFE has started a new diet, is seeing his eligibility for a medical procedure and has been having some dizziness in the am.

What are the differences between devices to control seizures?

Doctors appointments, summer and staying busy in an epilepsy world.

Cameron had a seizure in his sleep and although it may not have been from epilepsy, it is still important to raise awareness around why seizures occur and how they affect all our lives. We also discuss 4th of July and the weekend.

There are many factors that can cause a seizure that may not make it epilepsy. You will get an overview of what those are.

So per the neurologist recommendation we got a cat to see if he will help with Bruno’s seizures, give him companionship and comfort him.

From the conference on Sunday to Bruno having some seizures that have left him a little bruised to what we have planned for the long holiday weekend.

No matter what someone is facing they are not their illness or disorder or issues. They are a person and should be treated as such. Also as a caretaker you have to take care of yourself.

Its a holiday weekend for everyone celebrating Easter and/or Passover. We just want to give some brief insight as to where we are as a non profit and what we will be doing to keep raising awareness for epilepsy.
