    I don't understand how they got that wrong

    Controversy is never far away in the NRL and Friday night threw up a couple of interesting calls. Luke Lewis reckons Rooster Rob Toia's 2nd try against the Titans was 1000% not a try as he looked to have lost it over the line. Lewey chatted about that with Andrew Moore and Michael Carayannis and the bizarre end to the game in Townsville where the Eels won with a 3 point field goal. Plus you can hear some of what Criag Bellamy had to say as he addressed the media for the 1st time since news of his neurodegenerative disorder was made public. And Parramatta Young gun Tallyn Da Silva chatted about this win over the Cowboys and how he's enjoying more minutes on the field.

    Women's Origin has to stay as part of Magic Round

    On the eve of the 2026 Magic Round there's talk that from 2027 the format of the weekend might have to get a tweak. With the Perth Bears joining the party there'll be an extra NRL match to fit in (and no team sitting out) so what does that mean for the Women's Origin match which has kicked the weekend off on the Thursday? Quentin Hull, Billy Moore and Zane Bojack reckon that match should stay. Q and Billy also discussed the introduction of health screenings for former players and were joined by the Raiders powerful centre Matt Timoko. The Green Machine man reckons the uptick in their form is down to one thing - keeping it simple.

    A packed Sunday NRL show kicked off with Six Again which discussed the impact of the PNG Chiefs tax free contract and how that will make it difficult for Perth Bears recruitment. John Gibbs in particular thought the Bears will struggle to build a strong list. The General Manager of the Chief Michael Chammas joined the team to talk about how the Jarome Luai signing came around and how he's enjoying screening the calls of Michael Carayannis.     Canterbury's defeat by North Queensland condemned the Bulldogs to a 3rd straight NRL defeat. But it was the manner of the performance that concerned Luke Lewis. On the other side of the result was a very good performance from Cowboys back Tom Chester who explains his pre-season training efforts. And as for Melbourne Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and Michael Carayannis think the prognosis is bleak for Melbourne this season.
