How Do I Get Better At Flirting?

EPISODE 14 – You never know what part of the story you're stepping into when you meet someone. And you never will—unless you ask. This week's Co-Host Vi Andrews surprised me in the best way when I flipped back a few pages in their book. We begin with a conversation about how our bodies serve us through different stages of life. As Black women, we explore the personal history our hair holds and whether it aligns with the story it tells the world. Later, we welcome Jennie Vega, Stranger Extraordinaire, who brings New York advice and busts some LA flirting myths. She even gives us a daily affirmation and a Flirting Step-By-Step Guide: Flirting 101: 1.     Love You 2.     Get Comfortable with Yourself 3.     Embrace Some Joy 4.     Share time and space to feel each other's energy 5.     No texting—flirting needs eye contact The fun parts get serious, the serious parts get fun, and the topic is never entirely the topic.   +Follow us on Apple / Spotify and Instagram to never miss an episode!    Contact Us at: [email protected]  Leave a Message:  advice voicemail.

What Are We Gonna Do Now?

EPISODE 10 –  This question had to be asked, and the universe ensured we asked the right person.   This week's Stranger, Barton J Taylor schools myself and Co-Host, Brandi Smith on how to hold on to and set an example of the people we should reach out to.  Mr. Taylor's Suggestions: *Take a Breath and "Say I Exist" *Get Still, find the imbalance and shift our priorities to give us back what you lack. *Allow things to take the time they take. *Use joy as the lead metric in decision-making And In doing one or all of these - RECLAIM OURSELVES!  Find the person around you who has lived through some things yet remains the balanced and even optimistic voice in the room.  And may I suggest that you start here!   +Follow us on Apple / Spotify and Instagram to never miss an episode!  Contact Us at: [email protected]  Leave a Message: advice voicemail.

EPISODE 9 -  Wanna hear some real talk on life?   This week's Co-Host, Tina Tait, joins Stranger Anita Shegog in exploring Inspiration, how one creative decision leads to another and a life of passion for anyone!   Inspiration is the means by which we all become artists and create adventure or beauty in our own lives.  A thought paired with a feeling, Inspiration brings a glimpse of a future and the confidence that we can make that future a reality. Big or small, practical or profound, Inspiration is often the Mother of Change.   But Inspiration is fleeting. So what's the deal?  How do we find a way to keep it around? "Should I Believe In Aliens?"

EPISODE 8 - In an infinite universe, how could We be the only instance of a thriving lifeform?   Recorded last summer but timely as ever, we dig into whether having beliefs in beings not from this Earth is good for us?      This week's Stranger, Kate Dana, and our Co-Host, Stu, take this topic on from all angles!   Tired of the open-ended speculation, the great state of New Jersey has demanded answers. Should we? Do we really want to know?   If Aliens exist: Were they here before us? Is AI of extraterrestrial origins? Were the pyramids a soft launch of intergalactic technology on Earth? If offered a ride off this planet, would you take it?   On the eve of 2025, as we step boldly where no man has gone before, let us expand our minds and toss reality into the air for a while!    Should I believe in Aliens? Does The Universe Care About My Money?

EPISODE 7 – How do we tap into the forces of the Universe to ask for it's aid?  Does the universe care about my money?    Well, that's just one part of it… Episode 7 Co-Host Darin serendipitously chose this topic, and joined by our Stranger, Tena Marie, this talk instantly broadens to a discussion on self-learning, creating space for personal focus and channeling our energy.      We are in control of so much more than we are conscious of. But to gain that control, we must invest in self-discovery and truly learn who we are; otherwise, our actions will move us toward the wrong goal.   I accidentally put two Scorpio witches together! What does this all mean?   Tune In to find out!   *+Follow us on Apple / Spotify and Instagram to never miss an episode!  *Contact Us at: [email protected] *Leave a Message:  advice voicemail.

How Will I Know When I'm Happy?

EPISODE 6 - This week's Stranger introduces the concept of "happiness" as a belief system that he has possibly opted out of.  Pitched to Americans as a sustainable state of being that we are ever to chase, broken in the absence of, and one purchase away from achieving. We can all see that this is a set-up.  Instead, he offers some alternate concepts to examine. Viewing happiness in relationship to its opposite allows us to recognize it when it's here. Was humanity built to function with ongoing sustained happiness? Should we even strive for happiness or be motivated by other goals? Are we defining "Happiness," and is it best that we focus on serenity or joy instead?   But "Happy" comes with a rush that joy does not imply. Who doesn't love that sugar-high dopamine drama that happiness brings when it shows up?  So, how do we go about getting it without sounding foolish?   Tune in to find out…  Life's Answers could just be a stranger away! +Follow us on Apple / Spotify and Instagram to never miss an episode!   Contact Us at: [email protected]  Leave a Message:  advice voicemail.

Should I Get My House In Order? Or My Dreams In Order?

EPISODE 5 - In order to make our destiny a reality, do we build a nest or fly the coop?      In a week where we are feeling uncertain about our futures and vulnerable to the forces outside us - Our topic is a great meditation that begins with how to shore up your home base to best chase your dream.  If it needs to be chased at all… What if validating the small dreams, centering them daily, and stacking those joys is how we achieve a life fulfilled?  Do our dreams have to be elusive to count?  Or can we recognize the ones already achieved. The dreams our parents and communities had for us that we surpassed and kept moving forward.  This week, let's recognize what we have already done to remind ourselves of what we can do.   Episode Time Codes: 01:29 - We're Not Ok Right Now ~ w/ CoHost Bandi 18:10 - This Week's Topic Selection     Remember, we're no experts—but that's what makes it fun!   +Follow us on Apple / Spotify and Instagram to never miss an episode!  Contact Us at: [email protected] Leave a Message:  advice voicemail
