How we deal with the issue around statues, police brutality, and testing for the Coronavirus-19

I talk about how the protests right now going on all over The United States (and around the world) and how the end result of them needs to be comprehensive reform in three different areas: first, police reform in the sense of redistribution of funds to focus on demilitarization and an emphasis on mental health. Second, a complete reform of the Justice system to overhaul how we treat criminals, get rid of for profit jails, and turn away from minimum mandatory sentencing. Third, a refocus on the education system in order to ensure that class sizes stay low and that “teaching to the test” stops being the way we do things. It will require a tremendous effort but if all three of these reforms could be effected it would change the country radically for the better.

I talk about the root causes and reasons for the ongoing protests in multiple US cities. I investigate racism, capitalism, class conflict and the systematic exploitation of the people in this country.

I discuss Memorial Day here in the United States and also take a nuanced look at the search for a VP for presumptive Democratic Party Presidential Nominee Joe Biden.

From the earliest days of the Oldsmobile Curved Dash to the most modern vehicles how we have treated cars and what they say about us as a civilization shines the spotlight on so much of what makes us humans.
