Alabama’s Behind The Badge

Dr. Ezra Shine, Mike Williams, Charlotte White and Shellie Layne have agreed to join Sheriff Mark Pettway as guests on the upcoming broadcast of the Alabama Behind the Badge Radio Show on Saturday, April 25th. We are honored to have them share their expertise on the importance of education for the incarcerated. Ms. Layne will call in at the beginning of the show and will also appear in person later in the program. This segment will focus on the critical role education plays in rehabilitation, featuring a range of perspectives - including Sheriff Pettway’s vision for creating meaningful change through expanded educational opportunities within the Jefferson County Jail.
