Povich, a 2018 Bellevue West graduate, ended up as Nebraska's 20th ranked prospect his senior season before heading to South Mountain Community College. He transfered to Nebraska where he was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the third round of the 2021 MLB draft. This year he made his Major League debut on June 6th in Toronto for the Orioles.
