Sara has dedicated her time and attention to serving others, not limited to her state alone. She is a fervent advocate for breast care awareness AND career readiness; She serves as the Alabama DECA State President, Co-Founder and Immediate-Past President of To the Fullest Foundation, Founder and Podcast Host of Speaking Our Grief, and a leader for a multitude of additional organizations. Her passion is truly evident through all that she does and all that she is. From Florida to Alabama, and all the way up to Washington, D.C., Sara has truly made her mark as an outstanding, unique leader. But, with all of these successes, Sara has faced some tough challenges throughout her lifetime. Today, we get to hear how the daunting moments of her life were the fuel that drove her to become the best version of herself.

This episode is a testament to his late grandfather who passed on July 11th, 2023. On the premiere date, August 24th, 2023, he would’ve been 68 years old—born on August 24th, 1954. Despite these obstacles, he has managed to persevere, embrace, and thrive. It’s not just his story, it’s our story. So, let’s embrace our imperfections and mistakes, together.
