Welcome to KickServeRadio.com! Our team is here to bring you entertaining and informative segments on the glory days of tennis, as well as current day, hot topics. 1. 196
  2. 195

On April 20th, we lost one of the truly great ones with the passing of Jim Loehr. Doctor Loehr was a game change in so ways, and in so many lives. He was the Johnny Carson of Sports Psychologists.

Doctor Loehr was a true pioneer, and he paved the way for the industry to flourish. RIP, Doc. You were loved by many! And what would Doc Loehr say about what Roger, Rafa, Novak, Carlitos, and Jannikall have in common? And what can we ALL learn from that?

  3. 194

It's the 4th time in tennis history that the Sunshine Double was double-bagged. Sinner & Sabalenka turn the trick, and Jannik barely broke a sweat!

Also, Ethan Quinn made some headlines of his own in Phoenix, winning an all-American final, a thriller vs a very entertaining Marcos Giron.

  4. 193

Two of the greats join us this week! Mikael Pernfors and Paul Annacone are featured, as we all prepare for tennis in paradise. These guys are both amazing, and entertaining.

Also, the Sunshine Double has been stretched to a standing Triple, as the Arizona Tennis Classic is very high level. Just ask Annacone, he'll tell you himself!

  5. 192

It was an all-American fight to the finish in Dallas. Big Ben and Taylor slugged it out in an epic Dallas Open final!

Also, Tennis in Paradise at Indian Wells is right around the corner, but don't sleep on Arizona!  The ATC field is LOADED!

  6. 191
  7. 190
  8. 189
  9. 188

Want to hang with the cool kids? They don't come much cooler than RF. Wilson's Juan Diego Cuadrado will tell you how YOU can get on the team.

Also, a couple of Steve Denton's A&M boys (Vacherot and Rinderknecht) shake things up in Shaghai, and the American women are making more noise than ever!

  10. 187

Wilander makes strong showing in Kona!

Rounding out an amazing WORLD RACQUETS CONFERENCE, Brian Dillman, Andy Zodin and headliner Mats Wilander discussed the concept of "re branding" and how Mats has done so much of that during his Hall of Fame career.

  11. 186
  12. 185

They play sets to 4, and the matches last about an hour, but it technically counts as a "major" with a cool $mill at stake. Is this the new normal in pro tennis?

Also, Jonny made a pretty sweet run at The Open in '83.Lost 3rd round to Lendl but almost played Nastase. Ok Jonny...do tell!

  13. 184

Another incredibly touching moment in pro tennis, as de Minaur comforts Davidovich Fokina, after an epic DC final that left the Spaniard in emotional shambles.

And...Venus Williams follows in the footsteps of the great George Foreman, coming out of retirement at 45, to show that some great champions are simply ageless.

  14. 183

Amanda gave it her all at Wimbledon, and it ended the way it started, with a love and love score line. That aside, she beat #1 to get to the grandest final of 'em all, and that is a beautiful thing.

Also, this "new two" men's rivalry is now officially on fire, with Sinner the winner, and now they've won 7 straight!

  15. 182

So, what do we make of this guy? Super talented, pretty quirky, and really unpredictable. But maybe, just maybe Bublik is ready to get serious about doing some serious winning!

And...quick, who's the last guy NOT named Alcaraz or Sinner to win a major? Took you a second there, didn't it?

  16. 181

If this is the new era, the new "it rivalry" in men's tennis, then we are blessed. Carlitos and Jannik put on a show for the ages, and Wilander was front row for the spectacle.

Also...Coco's brand appeal is skyrocketing, as she takes down the great Sabalenka, in a ladies final that wasn't too shabby in its own right

  17. 180

She's fierce, and she is coming on strong. Peyton Stearns was a 3rd set TB-winning machine on her way to the Italian semis. Good news for the American women on clay!

And..."hey Mats, how do you enjoy being treated like tennis royalty while in Europe?" "Well, it reminds my wife that at one time in my life I wasn't a complete dumba$$!" Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  18. 179

It almost feels like it was the stone age, since Mats won his 2nd French back in '85. So much has changed in 40 years, but maybe...just maybe some things have stayed the same.

And..."hey Jonny, if Mats doesn't get tripped up by Chesnokov in the quarters in '89, is it possible, perhaps even PROBABLE that Chang doesn't win that lone major?" Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  19. 178

It doesn't happen often, certainly not to Grigor. But yes, he got double-bagel'd in Monte Carlo in 44 minutes. Says Wilander, "trust me, it happens to the best of us!"

And, Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) CEO Brian Dillman joins the show to talk about the plans going forward for the former USPTA.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  20. 177

Is Men's tennis losing its footing? Is the sport a little out of balance? Says Wilander, "We've been here before and the game came out stronger. Hopefully these times lead to a similar outcome."

And, "hey Jonny, what's with this Colton Smith?"And of course, Mensik gets more than just a mention! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A rare sit-down with Andre Agassi

On March 15th, AZ sat down with Andre Agassi at Phoenix Country Club during Jonny's Arizona Tennis Classic (ATP Challenger), for 30 minutes of vintage Andre.Insightful, entertaining, and candid as always. It was a great crowd, and Agassi did not disappoint. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
