Andy Compton - Live at Jack Budha, South Africa, 114 BPM

Here's the recording from my gig the other week in Pretoria, at the famous Jack Budha Deep House venue. As you can hear, its pretty slow! Bumping along at 114 BPM. This is how they roll in the South African Townships, 'cos they groove and chill hard! It wasn't intentional to do a whole set of my productions, 'It Just Happened That Way'!!! Enjoy :)

    Cinnamon - The Rurals

This song was made at Pete Morris's 'Kick Squad' studio, Whilst The Rurals / Peng Studio was in storage late 1998. There was a problem getting Pete's multi tracker to work, so it was recorded live, with Pete mixing it live on the desk (hence my scrappy guitar!) This song is a magical one for me, can't remember what we were smoking that day!! Keys and Beats - Pete Morris Bass - Pete Gurner Guitars - Andy Compton
