We're back from vacation and back at it with the Star Wars news we missed while we were gone and the middle 8 episodes of Rebels season 2.

Happy Summer, everyone! Due to some craziness in our lives, we've taken an accidental vacation. We promise to get back to our Rebels rewatch soon! In the meantime, enjoy this bonus episode that we recorded in May after finishing Jedi: Survivor and the book: Jedi: Battlescars.

Hello all! We're spreading out the next couple of episodes because of vacation. This week, we talk about casting rumors for Ahsoka and the death of Ray Stevenson, two stories from Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View and the first 8 episodes of Rebels Season 2!

This week we continue our read of Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View with stories "The Baptist" and "Time of Death", as well as our rewatch of the second half of Rebels Season One! SPOILERS for all of this content! Also, Marianne was away from home and didn't have her usual sound setup, so parts may be a little more muffled.

We're back from our season break and gearing up for a fun summer of Rebels rewatch, finishing up Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View, and a few bonus episodes. This week we're talking about the strong start that Rebels season one gave us, as well as initial thoughts on Jedi: Survivor, and two more stories from the book.

We're still on break this week, but next week we're starting our rewatch of Star Wars: Rebels! Therefore, we thought this would be the perfect time to drop an archived episode of our original thoughts on the show from 2021. And hey, you can also now find us on TikTok @areweforcingit. We'll be back next week for the first 8 episodes of Rebels and the next two stories in Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View. This is an original disclaimer from that episode: We both had a long day and we recorded pretty late, so we call "Hux" by the name "Hex" several times during a comparison we made from Rebels to The Last Jedi. We also read and react to "Incident Report" and "Change of Heart" from Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View, and of course discuss the many cameos and dynamics in Chapter 22 of The Mandalorian.

This week we tackled the double-feature finale for the Bad Batch Season 2 and gush over the Rebels cameo in Mando Chapter 21. Marianne rants about media illiteracy and Annie tries to convert Marianne to Avatar: The Last Airbender. We skipped reading a story this week, but next week we'll be reading from A Certain POV again!

This week Marianne updates us on meeting Dee Bradley Baker, Annie connects with Beth Revis on Twitter, we dive into the story "Fully Operational" from Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View, Episode 14 of The Bad Batch Season 2, and last but not least, the Mandalorian, Chapter 20.

This week we talk about Star Wars news, "Laina" from Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View by Wil Wheaton, S2 Episode 13 of the Bad Batch, and Mando S3, Episode 3. Marianne digs into some Instagram comments and Annie explains fiction structure and the questions that the audience should and shouldn't be asking.

Getting out a bit late this week because of some technical glitches in the editing bay, but we eventually made it!  This week we finished reading Bloodline by Claudia Gray and rewatched The Clone Wars: Season 7 episodes 1 and 2, which introduced our favorite boys, Clone Force 99! 

This week we dedicated our entire episode to Claudia Gray's Bloodline, Chapters 16-25! Join us as we try to figure out when/how Bail knew Anakin and Vader were the same Skyguy, why the Senate turned so quickly on Leia, and what has been up with Greer's past this whole time. Next week, the finale! 

This week we are focusing on Andor's season finale with special guest, Nik from GeekSpeak! We recorded this first thing in the morning the day after Thanksgiving, so be patient with our slow mental processing in the midst of our food comas! Remember to keep an eye out for the launch of the GeekSpeak podcast, set to release in January.

This week we talked about the latest casting for the Acolyte series, the first few chapters of Bloodline by Claudia Gray, and Andor Episode 9! 

This week, we finished reading The Princess and the Scoundrel by Beth Revis and gave our final thoughts on the book. We also recapped and discussed our thoughts on Andor Episode 8. PS: If you didn't listen to our bonus episode on Tales of the Jedi, it's live now! 

Surprise! We talked about adding another segment to our regular episodes to discuss each piece of Tales of the Jedi, but we decided that a bonus episode would be much more cohesive and efficient. We chat about our likes and dislikes, the controversy of keeping cannon sacred, and problematic choices that were made with the sixth episode. 

A LOT was going on this week! We talked about ten very eventful chapters in The Princess and the Scoundrel by Beth Revis, and also recapped and reacted to all the information we gained in Andor episode 7. 

This week we had A LOT to say! We read chapters 31-40 of The Princess and the Scoundrel and also recapped and reacted to Andor Episode 6! 

This week we read chapters 25-30 of Princess and the Scoundrel, and recap and discuss Andor episode 5.
