Akshansh and Amey are old friends who get bored a lot. And in an attempt to stave off this boredom, they consume a lot of content. Be it movies, TV shows, music, video games or sports. After years of planning and laziness, they've finally decided to put their heads together and birth this podcast out of their brains!Tune in for some chill vibes, conversations with friends, and general hot (and sometimes cold) takes on pop culture of all kinds.

    Happy Hour 2: Electric Boogaloo

We bring you this episode from the Vault. Recorded back in November 2023 (when we were hoping to be more regular with releases, ouch), this Happy Hour sesh is a chill catch-up discussing all the things we consumed while we were AWOL (dealing with life in a capitalist society). We bounce from sports to books to TV to movies to concerts, as The Football Club Supporters’ Support Group reconvenes, Akshansh joins a Book Club with some neighbourhood rapscallions, Amey finds Past Lives underwhelming, Akshansh loses his (Satyajit) Ray virginity, and old man Amey yells at cloud about unruly Gen-Z behaviour. This is a chonky one with lots to chew on, so buckle up! (Check our socials for the full Recap Roster)

Severance: The Insidious Apple TV+ Workplace Drama

In this one, we talk about the next big Apple TV+ hit, "Severance" with one of our good friends, Ravi, the brains behind @whywatchthis on Instagram. We go deep and discuss the characters, themes, set design, general vibes and some similar pieces of media. This show is one for the r/antiwork era and feels especially prescient, you don't want to miss it!

Nobody's Perfect: Some Billy Wilder Classics (Ft. Double Indemnity, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment)

In this episode, we welcome our friend Pranit onto the pod to talk about some old classics by the legendary Billy Wilder. And if you notice some audio issues on this one, we did too, bear with us! We talk about a cautionary tale on insurance fraud in "Double Indemnity", then there is the Marilyn Monroe starrer "Some Like It Hot" (fun fact: Tony Curtis is the father of recent Oscar winner Jaime Lee Curtis) , and lastly we end on a rather depresso note (typical, right?) talking about Jack Lemmon in "The Apartment". And that's the way it crumbles, cookiewise.

Malluverse Alert!: The Great Indian Kitchen & Bangalore Days

This episode with returning guest Nandita, sees us talking about two of our favorite Mollywood (Malayalam Cinema) new generation films! Feat. Don't miss this one!

Full disclosure - this was recorded at the end of August, 2022. Our last session from last year. Both Amey and Jeremy Allen White were in the peak of their short-king North American summer vibes during this period. Have fun with this one, folks - our special friend Sidhant Saraogi joins us from Washington, D.C. Here's to more delicious food, pals, fam and that "perfect mouthfeel" to kick start the next slate of releases!

We also talk about difficulty in games, the underlying sense of achievement on mastering a new challenge and also try to convince the other co-host to play Elden Ring/Ghosts of Tsushima with an elevator pitch. This one is quite different from our usual content, and definitely not one you want to miss!

We discuss the cool and aloof hit from Apple TV+ : Mythic Quest. Also on the menu is a take on the blockbuster DUNE. Grab some tea/coffee/G&T and kick it with us!
