Noah will also share his thoughts on what his expectations are for the upcoming season. The upcoming NBA Summer League will be different this year as the media will no doubt descend on Las Vegas to see Victor Wembanyama play. We will also be sharing our thoughts on what a future starting lineup could look like with Victor Wembanyama. How many nationally televised games will the Spurs have this season with Victor Wembanyama on the team? Will the Spurs once again play on Christmas Day? Both me and Noah will share out thoughts on this. With the Spurs landing the number one overall pick in the NBA Draft and if the teams draft’s Victor Wembanyama will San Antonio become a free agent destination once again? Let’s talk about DeJounte Murray and the now infamous phrase where he said the Spurs were going to lose for the next fifteen years. Noah and I will think of what could have been had and how DeJounte Murray being traded helped players like Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell get more minutes and become better players. What are the Spurs chances of getting a top pick in the NBA draft after losing the coin toss?
Two Shost Podcast Ep.137 - What are the Spurs chances of getting a top pick in the NBA draft after losing the coin toss? On this episode of the Two Shots Podcast, we will be joined by Paul Garcia host of the Spurscast, and Benjamin Bornstein who is a writer for Project Spurs. We will discuss the San Antonio Spurs being approved to play three games away from the AT&T Center and what this means for the team's future here in San Antonio. The Spurs organization looks to expand its brand beyond San Antonio and into Mexico as the city council approved the team to play three games away from the At&t Center for the upcoming 2023-24 season. Paul Garica, Ben Borstein, and I will also talk about Spurs Sports and Entertainment released a timeline for their massive $500 million practice facility that is set to open in August of 2023, with a ribbon cutting ceremony to be held in September. The center will be open to the public in October and the Spurs restaurant that is not expected to open until January 2025. Spurs fans can now rest assured that their team is here to stay in San Antonio and can look forward to having access to a new practice facility. RC Buford, the General Manager of the Spurs, has reassured fans that the team will not be moving to Austin, and has made it clear that the Spurs are committed to its San Antonio home. With the Spurs losing the coin toss to the Houston Rockets the team will now finish with the third-worst record in the NBA but how does this affect the team's chances of landing that number one pick in the upcoming NBA Draft? Well, honestly losing the coin toss was not that big of a deal as both the Spurs, Rockets and Pistons all still have a 14% chance of landing that coveted top pick. The worst the Spurs could do is fall to that 7th spot in the NBA Draft but the odds of that happening are 7%. The Spurs have better odds of getting that 5th spot at 14.8% than landing the 1st overall pick by only a few percentage points. We will discuss the team's percentages in more detail on this episode of the Two Shots Podcast. Did you see the latest Spurs merchandise labeled La Cultura that was made available to the fans this week? It's a blend of the culture of the Alamo City with Aqua Frescas and a bit of the Fiesta theme along with a Spurs Coyote Pinata. From T-Shirts to Caps, this limited edition merchandise is always a fan favorite here in San Antonio. We will discuss the pricing for the La Cultura merchandise as T-Shirts start at $39.99 and Caps at $34.99 are these prices too high? In San Antonio, you can go to the Southside or any local Flea Market and buy a bootleg T-Shirt for about $10.00 - $15.00 that will look just as good if not better. We will discuss this and end the show by talking to Paul about his latest episode of the Spurscast as he Collin Reid will be Breaking Down The Team Salary Going Into The Off Season. Is it too soon for a Victor Wembanyama Mural In San Antonio?
In this, all-new episode of the Two Shots Podcast we will be joined by our guest the one and only Jeff Garcia the lead Spurs writer for Kens-5 San Antonio. We will discuss the latest Spurs mural created by local San Antonio artist Nike Soupe, featuring Victor Wembanyama who is expected to be the #1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Is this too soon as the Spurs season has not come to an end? Jeff Garcia and Joe Garcia will share their thoughts on this as they both found this to be humorous, as they think it might be tempting fate, as the Spurs don't yet know if they will actually be able to get the number one pick. Despite the team's back-to-back losses to the Dallas Mavericks and the Memphis Grizzlies the Spurs still remained competitive and they look to recover and get a win against DeJounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks. Both Jeff Garcia and Joe Garcia will discuss what kind of reception DeJounte Murray will receive from the home crowd after some controversial comments on the All The Smoke Podcast. You can see what DeJounte Murray had to say to the media when he was asked about his comments and what it means to come back home and play at the At&t Center by reading Jeff Garcia's latest article on the Kens-5 website. Jeff Garcia breaks news and hints that while the Spurs City Edition Fiesta-themed jerseys are coming to an end there might still be hope that the fan-favorite Fiesta-colored jerseys could make a comeback in a way fans did not expect. I will also ask Jeff Garcia if he will be purchasing his Spurs fiesta jersey before the trilogy comes to an end. I will also ask Jeff Garcia what were his first impressions of new fan favorite Sandro Mamukelashvili aka "Mamu" and if he will be investing in a Mamukelashvili jersey and his reaction might surprise you. In closing both me and Jeff Garcia will geek out a little and talk about the screener I was of John Wick 4 and Jeff will give us his recommendation for a new Marvel series on Disney+.

Spurs Snap 16 Game Losing Streak & Shining The Spotlight On Rookie Blake Wesley
On this, all-new episode of the Two Shots Podcast we will be joined by guest Carolina Teague host of the League Of Her Own podcast, and Jazz Tamir who covers the team for Project Spurs. The San Antonio Spurs snapped a franchise record 16-game losing streak and picked up their first win of the season after being down by 10 points, making them 1-45 when down by double digits. In February, the Spurs went 6-26 on the road, 6-32 against the west, 1-8 on the rodeo road trip, and 13-46 as underdogs. Jazz Tamir commented on the Spurs' victory and believes that although it was helped by Utah missing some shots, the Spurs defense was lacking in the first half. Keldon Johnson was not pleased with the team's victory over the Jazz and believes there is still work to do. Despite the win, the season has been difficult and demoralizing for the team and its fans. Carolina Teague hopes the team can build upon this win and play more consistent basketball to finish off the season. Spurs leading scorers Keldon Johnson - 25 PTS / 4 REB / 3 AST Doug McDermott – 19 PTS / 3 REB Jeremy Sochan – 13 PTS / 6 REB / 6 AST Devonte Graham – 12 PTS / 1 Reb / 3 AST The highlight of the night for the Spurs - Rookie Blake Wesley had one his best game of the season as he finished the game with 9 PTS on 5 shots, with 6 REB, 2AST, 2 fouls, 3 steals, and 2 turnovers. (H/T Paul Garcia via Twitter) Coach Pop has hinted at Devin Vassell possibly returning to the court on March 2nd when the team plays it’s the first game back at the At&t Center since the Rodeo Road Trip. In this episode of the Two Shots Podcast, our guest will be Spurs analyst Noah Magato, the new editor-in-chief of Air Alamo. We will discuss the various changes that came ahead of the trade deadline, including the surprising trade of Jakob Poeltl to the Toronto Raptors.
