People. People are what make a house a home. On realising this, in this final episode, Connie and the gang set about putting on a welcome party for the family when they arrive. In part two, we continue our adventure to learn how to make a house a home. We meet John-Paul, an artist and visionary with a keen creative eye. He helps Connie and the gang find the inspiration to decorate the house using a ‘special things’ box the family sent. 🎨🖌️ “Special things’ boxes are very special and can also be magical. They are packed with inspiration. Connie, take the first object out of the family’s special things box and see where the inspiration takes us...”  By the end of the episode, the decoration in the family’s new house matches the family’s interests, passions, and energy.  Connie’s family are super good friends with a family that come from a country that isn't safe for them to live anymore. Connie is on a mission to make their house a home before they arrive, but she needs help...   “I need to know how to make a house a home and fast. Family friends are fleeing from a war-torn country and they need our help to settle in here. They sent their stuff by boat a week ago. And they are coming by plane today!” 🛬   The adventure takes Connie and the gang to an area near the home that is packed with ice cream parlours, community gardens, and a mini market. It’s perfect! But when they race around the corner to where the house is supposed to be, it's an empty plot with nothing there!!! Connie’s decorating the art party at school and our lovely customer Pauline is looking for some creative inspiration! Seeing that Connie’s ordering a lot of single-use plastic for the event, Pauline takes them on an Armchair Adventure to Plastic Shed to learn more about plastic waste while they get a bit arty!  ♻️🎨 “There is this amazing arts organisation called Plastic Shed I’d like to visit. It’s run by an artist called Caitlin, and shemakes art using recycled plastic.” When they arrive, they see a beautiful mural showing what plastic waste does to the environment- there’s a sea turtle trapped in plastic, a polar bear on melting ice, and a hermit crab having to use a traffic cone as a shell!🐢🐻‍❄️🐚 Caitlin left us a note saying it was set to be dismantled, so while we waited to meet her, the gang decided to go on an adventure inside the mural and meet the animals and hear their stories!  The only problem is, Caitlin came back early...and started taking apart the Mural with everyone still inside! 😬 Will they get to meet all the animals before it's too late? Connie and the gang blast off into space for an adventure to the moon! Connie initially hesitates, worried about being so far from home. However, she joins the crew just in timefor the rocket launch! 🚀Along the way, the adventurers experience zero gravity, dodge space debris, and even encounter friendly aliens! After a small navigational hiccup, the crew manages to steer back on course and successfully land on the moon.
