Being Friends Ep 101 2000s Computer Games, Louie v Zayne, Toni-ann's Birthday Celebration
Welcome Back to another week of Being Friends. This week we are not as lively as episode 100, but we are still bringing all our opinions on things.Toni-ann introduced her sister in law to the SIMs and there is just something about the SIMs that is so genius it will always suck you into a month straight of doing nothing else besides playing the SIMs. Louie and Zayne were apparently making a documentary, which has since been cancelled because they have beef. Toni-ann's Birthday fun and recording episode 100. Dinner and an escape room after a few cocktails was a great idea. The Mets are so God awful it is past misery. Why is our coach the only one not being fired? Our Knicks! We love the Knicks and the basketball playoffs. That's all we got this week! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

BEING FRIENDS POD EPISODE 100!
We have a very special episode this week, we made it to 100 episodes!!!For this momentous milestone, we decided to get together IRL and use our new tiny mics (we are obsessed) on Jess's couch. This one is a Jess and Toni-ann special, everyone! If you think we are chaotic on our webcams, just imagine how ridiculous we are together in person! To make it even more special, we recorded on Toni-ann's Birthday! With our tiny mics and mango margaritas in hand, we discuss several crazy topics for you all: -We realize Jess actually never understood the plot of Cinderella-We ponder what is in the air when it is nice out that requires us to spend money? -Some book/movie talk - Patrick Schwarzenegger is NOT our Gus Everett, and Hollywood book adaptations on the whole-And of course, we briefly touch on the Mets, who are SO miserable that we don't want to spend too much time on them at all. We had a great time recording this! Please share, like and subscribe if you can! We would also appreciate some positive reviews of our show so more people can find us! Thanks to all who stuck with us through 100 episodes, maybe within the next 100 we can gain some more followers LOL. Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 98 - Jess Tries Pilates, Toni-ann Tries Pickleball
Happy Friday Friends! This week we are ranting about everything. Jess tried Pilates and her first class was nothing short of chaotic in a typical Jess fashion. Luckily no fainting happened, but she was pretty close. Toni-ann went to Florida and finally played PicklebBall. Spoiler Alert: she is good at it, and so of course we will now never hear the end of it. Why are people still obsessed with Chipotle? We do not feel the same, they make weird quesadillas and their queso sucks.Other topics this week include: Marty Supreme, Hannah Montana, Age of Attraction, Love is Blind Hoboken(?) and MLB Opening Day.Like, Share Subscribe and thanks for Being Our Friend.

Being Friends Ep 97 - False Spring, and What We're Watching
Welcome Back to Being Friends with Jess and Toni-ann!This week, we are mostly talking about what we are watching but before that review, we are discussing some other topics. This week we experienced our 1st false spring of 2026 (and most likely not the last). We had a fabulous 80 degree day and two days later we are expecting snow- such a tease, but we made the most of it.The World Baseball Classic is in full swing and we are obsessed with the Italian team and their espresso machine. Jersey Shore is Leaving MTV, so is MTV going to go back to their original ways? We have ideas, so give us a call, MTV!Jess (partially watched) the newest Jurassic Park and had many thoughts about how dumb the people in these movies are. Lastly, we are fully discussing Bridgerton Season 4, so if you did not watch you will be spoiled! In our recap we have trouble remembering anyone's name for some reason, so we are also playing 'Guess that Bridgerton Character.'That is all for this week! Thanks for Being Our Friend.

Being Friends 96 - Punch the Monkey, No One is Neighborly Anymore, and Snow > Rain
Welcome Back for another Friday of Rants from the Friends. This week, both Toni-ann and Jess cannot keep it together over Punch the Monkey and this viral story. We are too emotional and honestly can barely talk about it.We are catching up on two weeks of life, so the Blizzard made its way into this week's rants because Toni-ann's neighbor caused complete chaos with the plowing situation, her other neighbors were gonna throw down in the street and what has happened to the days where we all had common courtesy in a snow storm? Jess is ranting about needing to do school drop off in the rain. Snow might linger but it is much more joyful and prettier than the gloom of rain. Also, you get less wet in the snow so, snow > rain. We did not win Knicks Best Friends Night tickets, so we still cannot afford to see "Our Knicks." Next week we are diving into Bridgerton, so get caught up if you're not! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 95 - Hannah Montana Special, Winter Olympics Week 2, and TV Update
Welcome Back Friends! This week's pod is short and sweet. We are kicking it off with our Ridiculous Things and Toni-ann and her customer service call is VERY relatable. This week it was announced that a Hannah Montana 20 year anniversary special is coming. We are discussing our excitement and thoughts on what it may or may not be. The Olympics are almost over, and we are discussing what has gone on since the last episode and what we are looking forward to in the final days. Lastly, Tell Me Lies has ended and since Jess doesn't watch - we are letting Toni-ann answer all her questions on if this was as abrupt as it seemed. Also, some of the cast is dating each other and we are unsure how they keep the character and real person separate from each other - but I guess that is why we are not actors. That's all we got this week! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

The Mets are making changes and we are judging the Pitchers first day of school signs for their very uncreative answers! It is a quick one, but enjoy and Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 93 - 10 degrees vs. 100 degrees, and the Sad State of Today's Concert Tickets
Welcome back for another episode everyone! It has been a few weeks, so the majority of this episode is us catching you up on the ridiculousness of our lives. Jess got plenty of chaos in her life, while Toni-ann tells us about her skiing trip and travel encounters. We are also debating our favorite topic, summer vs winter. This has been a hot topic of our entire friendship, but neither of us are changing our ground. Ticketmaster is still a rotten monopoly, and getting tickets to concerts continues to be the modern day Hunger Games - may the odds ever be in your favor. Jess's house is imploding by the end of this episode so we ended somewhat abruptly- we hope you enjoy and thanks for being our friend!

Being Friends Ep 86 - TV is Crazy, Celebs are Crazy, and ChatGPT is Crazy
Happy Friday, we are back with a roundup of all the things! First, we get into TV:- These 9-1-1 TV shows are perplexing. Are they satire? Are they just testing how crazy they can get and people will still watch? We ponder.-Love Is Blind (first 6 episodes) recap - this show has completely lost the plot.-The Pitt Season 1 - Toni-ann binged the hell out of it this past week, and is loving it. Then we have some celeb chats:-Are JLo and Ben together AGAIN?-John Mayer and Kat Stickler? -KFed is sounding the alarms on Britney again. But how timely, his memoir comes out this week as well...And of course our sports updates:-Yankees are out!!! Woohoo-Will we be real Knicks fans this year?-Our usual fantasy football rants. Being Friends Ep 85 - Haircuts, The Life of a Showgirl Review, Fantasy Football Problems
Welcome back friends! This episode is MOSTLY about the newest Taylor album, of course, but for our non-Swiftie fans, we did discuss some other random things! We are discussing the hardship of planning a haircut, or your nails, especially around special occasions.Fun Fridays- the new Friday ritual Jess created a new ritual with her kids for the month of October called "Fun Fridays." Last week, Carm's Farm was the fun activity! Highly recommend to our tri-state listeners! TLOAS Review - not even close to being as in-depth (or intense) as our TTPD review, but we are talking about most of the tracks and giving our opinions. If you aren't a Swiftie, at least give Opalite a listen, you will not be disappointed. After that, we are discussing NY sports and their disappointment across the board. This also ties into our fantasy football chat of the week. Thanks for listening- please leave a review if you have time or share with a friend! Thanks for Being Our Friend

This week, Jess and Toni-ann faced off in Fantasy Football - and spoiler alert, Toni-ann won in an upset! Lastly (and mostly) we are discussing the Mets and how the end we knew was coming came. Welcome Back Friends! This week's episode was recorded last week and delayed due to some technical issues so apologies that our pop-culture news is not so new this week! First thing's first - Taylor and Travis are engaged and boy did they break the internet! These Swifties are overjoyed and we are sharing all our feelings! We are also hearing about all of Toni-ann's adventures in Flushing, Queens as of late. She went to Hot Pot for the first time, as well as the US Open. Tennis probably is not her thing since being quiet at sporting events is not her strong suit. We are also catching you up on what Jess is watching - The Hunting Wives, and of course having our weekly Mets catch up. Next time, tune in for some Fantasy Football Week 1 updates, and draft reviews. As always thanks for Being Our Friend!

The Mets also played in the Little League Classic, so we are discussing that as well. We're back to full length episodes! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Even if you are not a fan, after the facts are laid out, there is no denying this. The Knicks have unfortunately lost. We are talking about their downfall to the Pacers, Coach Thibs getting fired, and maybe we will watch more of them before the playoffs next year cause we love OUR Knicks. And lastly the Gay Mets are back. It is no secret the Mets ramp up in June for some reason, but if you don't live on #MetsTwitter like we do, after Pride Night last season, they took a turn for the better and had the best 2nd half of a season in baseball. Being Friends Ep 65 - "Let's Blow This Popsicle Stand"
We wish we could say the title of this week's episode has some deep meaning, but Toni-ann just couldn't stop saying this dumb phrase all week, and we thought it might be a catchy title for you all. So there you go!This week, we discuss:-St Paddy's Day festivities, including going out in NYC as usual, which further proved once again that the Irish LOVE St. Patrick's Day, don't let the American haters fool you. We both try our best to explain the history of St. Patrick's Day and why he was such a famous saint, and we are probably 99% wrong with our storytelling, so sue us. Also, Elf on a Shelf is bad enough, PLEASE stop making up more things like this Leprechaun Trap crap!-Another piece of our childhood has died - Forever 21 announced they are closing all of their stores. Where will the next generation get their "going out tops" now??-Another part of our childhood that is worth mentioning - Kraft Mac and Cheese actually has a LOT of protein in it. Everyone enjoy, and Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 57 - Sweet Baby Jesus, and The Golden Globes
This week, we debate how long is too long to keep your home decorated for the holidays. That somehow turns into a whole discussion about nativities. Yup - Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men, and of course, sweet Baby Jesus. Toni-ann's family had an interesting change to the manger this year, courtesy of a prank. After that, Toni-ann finally saw Wicked, so we recapped that, and then dive into our Golden Globes recap. In summary, we are glad we got a better host this year, and even though we barely watched the telecast, we still had plenty of thoughts on it. To round out the episode, we briefly talk about the Mets and the Jets. The Jets are over which, we have known since Week 1, and the Mets have stopped giving us much to talk about in this off season, which we hope will change soon!We hope you enjoy this week's show and thanks for Being Our Friend!
