Beyond Your Border

Living abroad can be an exciting opportunity, as it opens new doors to travel to new places, meet interesting people, and learn about different cultures. But the glamour can quickly wear off when the difficulties of government bureaucracy, work visas, healthcare, language barriers, or cultural misunderstandings get in our way. While these experiences can be stressful, they can also be equally rewarding because they build our character, increase our patience and understanding, and generate empathy and compassion for others. Adapting to life in a different country can teach you a lot about yourself and what's important in life. Join me as I talk with individuals and families who have lived abroad as we learn together how their experiences have grown them into the people they are today.
