ep 28 - do birth workers make birth safer?

A conversation between Jocelyn and myself! In the end, maybe I made this clear or not - but once you've listened to the conversation you'll have some framework for the heart behind my conclusion - I do believe birth workers *can* make birth safer. I believe anyone with skills and respect for the process can be excellent helpers! Birth doesn't always happen in the ideal and "perfect" way, and there's no formula to guarantee life and safety. But we can *almost always* guarantee a family feels heard, respected, valued, trusted, and so much more. I value tools and skills for birth; I also value quiet observation as it unfolds as it knows how to.- Find Jocelyn: Jocelyn Grace McFadden (@walking.with.the.rooted) • Instagram photos and videosBirth Cultivated Ministries is a 501(c)(8) private association.
