TIME (Zimmer/Satellite Empire/Machinist)Acoustic Cover
TIME (CLOUD RIVER REMIX) My LIVE ACOUSTIC rendition of the amazing Hans Zimmer composition "TIME" - Ft. Satellite Empire - The Machinists Remix I found this song through the 3rd Generation Remix - which is hands down my very favorite Version of this song. The awesome thing about creating a little acoustic arrangement of the composition "TIME" is the way, the film "Inception" 2010 Soundtrack influences me as listener; then adding Han Zimmer's Composition without "video influences" and it changes my perceptions yet again. Add Satellite Empire and it's another amazing perceptual shift. Then TheMachinist took it and made it into some kind of ALCHEMICAL AUDITORY MAGIC... distilled on the other end is my little offering. Tiny but still full of TIME. Loved this trip. Musical Evolution of Perception is a wild RIDE!!! Anyway... here's my very Rubato Acoustic Rendition. It's wonky but it's free.

True (A Mother's Love Letter)
This song was written as a personal request, by a mother suffering from a malignant pancreatic tumor...to her 15 year old son. She contacted us online, saying she didn't have much money, but could we write a song that she could leave to her son, and she would pay to the best of her ability. Obviously, we didn't charge anything, and wrote the song as quickly as possible, as she had been declining in health. Her malignancy was contained within the tumor, but the tumor was rapidly increasing in size. A very risky situation. I am a mother, and no mother could refuse such a request from another mother. The lyrics were written from emails between Karen and I, her fondest memories of her son's childhood, her concerns for his future, and most of all, that her love for him will always be there. No matter what happens, love is what is TRUE. TRUE Verse 1 The silly things we used to say, Cuddled up together watchin’ movies all day And couldn’t I just spend my life this way? Watchin’ Spooky Scooby Doo with you, And you said to me in your little boy way, “Don’t worry mommy, I’m here. I’ll protect you.” I will protect you… Verse 2 But sometimes things happen; I cannot say why – It’s hard to know God’s plan or when I’ll need to fly But the very thought of leaving you behind Pulls my heart to pieces, brings tears to my eyes Chorus If you ever miss me more than you can bear, Talk to me darlin’ – know that I can hear I’ll find a way to get a message to you Love never dies, and my love for you is true. My Love for you is TRUE Verse 3 I know you’ll be the best man Any mother ever dreamed of I want you to know that When my time has come I’ll be looking down from above, Shining my light, watchin’ over you, My beautiful child, my beloved, My beloved Son Chorus If you ever miss me more than you can bear, Talk to me darlin’ – know that I can hear I’ll find a way to get a message to you Love never dies, and my love for you is true. It’s not what I wanted, but we can’t chose our time No matter what people say remember Remember the truth, not the lies… Remember the Truth… Verse 4 Brandon, baby, don’t hold it inside I’m tellin’ you right now it’s okay to cry You’ll always be my baby, soon you’ll be a man Just live every day the best that you can. And if you need help, don’t be afraid to ask If times get heavy, remember this too shall pass. Be kind to yourself, the way you are to others And one more thing hold close to your heart the love, The love of your Mother… The love of your Mother My Love, my love is true, my love for you, My love for you is true Chorus If you ever miss me more than you can bear, Talk to me darlin’ – know that I can hear I’ll find a way to get a message to you Love never dies, and my love for you is true. My beautiful child, my love for you is true… I’ll always LOVE you… ©2012 – Blues Mama Original Music - All Rights Reserved Lyrics – Raven Cusson Music – Raven Cusson / Ty Davis *The above notated song is used with permission by Karen and her son Brandon for unlimited personal use.
