In this new episode of Bodh Yatra, we contemplate upon the current scenario of Nepali youths leaving the country for education, employment or settlement. In this episode, we share our experiences and try to analyze the reasons that are pushing an individual to leave Nepal and the consequences of it. Here we provide our views and perceptions on what might be factors and hope it will provoke a healthy discussion towards the problem of 'near' mass exodus that Nepal is currently facing. In the last two weeks, three literature festivals took place across the country. Nepal Literature Festival in Pokhara, Janakpur Literature Festival in Janakpur and Kuda Karnali in Surkhet. We discuss how literary the sessions and guests have been in general at these literature festivals. We appreciate that events like this are taking place especially outside Kathmandu but we would like to see it accommodate more literature and less politics. What do you think?
