There's a lot more that happens in Pretty Girls by Karen Slaughter, but really you couldn't trust anyone, but one seemingly unsavory character. Maria and Madison dive into are some people capable of love? Motivations behind trophies, and motives.

Who can the Carroll sisters trust? The world seems to be shrinking around them in the terms of who they can trust? Is everyone in on it? Pretty Girls by Karen Slaughter leaves doubts in Maria and Madison's minds when it comes to who can be trusted. But it is in those dark times that old wounds heal and who you really are shines the brightest.

Any last minute twists you want to bet on? The Silence by Tim Lebbon had a twist we never saw coming. Baby vesps, a Cult, and the rapid spread of the decline of human society, OH MY! Maria and Madison continue to talk about family dynamics, survival skills, and what makes someone a real asshole in the stunning conclusion. 

Did we bite off more than we could chew in this doomsday horror novel? The Silence by Tim Lebbon has Maria and Madison gripped with this compelling storyline, relatable characters, and moral decisions. Do we agree with the actions in this novel? Can we justify how someone fights to survive in a dire situation? How can humans combat an unstoppable force? or at this point is it best to just survive? 

How much noise do you think you make on a daily basis? Is this even something that you've considered before? The Silence by Tim Lebbon gives Maria and Madison more things to think about. How people react to 'natural' unexplainable disasters, how prepared we are for an emergency, family values, pets, and more. Manansala was full of ups, downs, and according to Maria white rabbits running amok, while Madison thinks it looks like something got there before them.
