Still Screwed S2, E10
The second of three parts on The Screwtape Letters, Jane talks about who C.S. Lewis is and An Apology for Christianity. She and Yergz discuss the letters written by a major demon named "Screwtape," and details his letters to his nephew, "Wormwood." Read them, and see if you don't see any similarities (or ALL OF THEM) with the Trump campaign and the entire Republican Party. The Screwtape Letters were written in the 1940's, at a time when Nazi Germany and Fascism were the major enemy, and Communism was on the rise. What Yergz found fascinating about this whole phenomenon that is Trump, how many of Trump's allies have since said "No," he should NOT be President. Jane relates to part of "The Tribe" and a story of an uncle and the frequent trips to Cracker Barrel who just wasn't a good guest. Perhaps you can relate to someone in your family or "Tribe." The Grammys & the End of Season 1, Pt 2
After babbling for 30 minutes, Yergz and Jane move into the remaining top episodes of Season 1. As always, they continue to chatter and make for an interesting conversation. Plus, they took last week off from recording, so there was lots to catch up on! From country music (and Faith Hill, Jane. Tim McGraw's wife is Faith Hill....), to a continued review of Season One, Yergz and Jane talk about the Top Five episodes from the two major platforms: Spotify and YouTube. Yergz details why the two lists of analytics differ so much. One focuses on video (YouTube) and while Spotify is also a video friendly platform, the other directories that feed off of it are audio only. Yergz then gets into HOW a podcast episode is made and why one episode will do well on YouTube, while another episode does better on Spotify. Then we get into the "work wives" of Yergz, and his work HUSBAND! Yergz and Jane, both, have been incredibly busy, but not busy enough to forget about others in the community. From "Christmas Songs" like our 9/11 episode, and our BS Detector and how we got a little political, to conversations vs. lesson plans, Jane and Yergz wrap up their first season with political discussions and "magic wands..." Then a family friend of Yergz and his family, an inspiration to Jane and a community leader, Melanie Roth sits down in the B Inspired Podcast and tells her story about some of life's hurdles. The positive talk on Yergz Radio, and in Both Sides Now keeps Jane and Yergz, and their listeners, going into Season Two.

The Grammys & the End of Season 1, Pt 1
After a review of our interview with Phil Repko and his feature in The Expression, Jane dropped the newz on Yergz that he missed Joni Mitchell at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. After a quick flashback to VCRs, Tevo, and landline telephones, it's not long before Yergz is talking politics - again! As Jane and Yergz delve into the top episodes, he breaks off into the two recent "crime drama" type podcasts that he just finished: The Whistleblowers, by iHeart Media, hosted by Miles Taylor, formerly of the Department of Homeland Security. This details the life stories of those who tried to stop the Trump Administration from going rogue, and the prices that they paid. Next, they discuss Who Killed JFK? and some of the things that Yergz already knew. Produced by Rob Reiner ("Meathead" from All in the Family) and Soledad O'Brien (CNN), this podcast confirms what Yergz already suspected, or even knew. Then, some news gets dropped on Jane! The B Inspired Podcast starts on 99.1 WDJW-FM on Sunday, February 18th at 5pm Eastern! She's made the big time! Amazing Newz!
Last week, a small production company that works with Yergz Radio received some incredible news - TWICE! Glen "Sportcat" Jackson and everyone at Nite Lite Productions were awarded with the opportunity to transfer their shows, The Para Or Normal Guyz, and Sportcat and the Misfits, over to FM radio! And if that wasn't exciting enough, on Friday they began talks with ANOTHER internet radio station for possible syndication of their new Friday night show, Grin and Guardian Gang. Have a listen, and find out why that's good for Yergz and everyone at Yergz Radio! Yergz.com YergzRadio.com StudioBBB.org

A Late MLK and Iowa Caucus
Hey Gang! I'm sorry that this first episode is later than planned! I've been having some audio issues, all week, with anything that I record into the MP4 format. I didn't want to launch something that you couldn't hear! But that's fixed, and now you finally get to hear the episode that Jane and I did, combined, for both MLK and the Iowa Caucuses. Both topics remain relevant, so I think you will enjoy all 58 minutes and 35 seconds! And don't go away! Episode #2 for the week is up next! Yergz Radio Yergz.com Studio B Art Gallery The Expression

By now, you've figured out that this week Jane and Yergz: Met THREE times to record episodes (two more than usual) Recorded enough content for SIX episodes Jane was scolded by Amy for sharing with Yergz Yergz drinks rum AND flavored whiskey! Both are people of faith, but not hypocrisy Craig may not listen much (his words), but he's still a "SuperFan" BREAK TIME!!
