David Collins, Teacher & Coach
In this week’s episode of The Brook Hill Podcast, host Jereme Hubbard sits down with longtime coach and teacher David Collins. Since joining Brook Hill in 2003, David has served in a variety of roles, including science teacher, athletic director, assistant athletic director, and coach. Over the years, Coach Collins has won four state championships in soccer: two with the women’s team in 2013 and 2014, and two with the men's team in 2024 and 2025. But more than championships, Coach Collins hopes to be remembered for loving and serving others. Listen now to hear his story!

Hall of Honor Interviews
On February 8, 2026, Brook Hill hosted the inaugural Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony. The Athletic Department honored two coaches, eight student-athletes, four contributors, and several state championship teams worthy of special recognition from the 1997-2012 school years. Wally Dawkins, Athletic Director
Wally Dawkins joined The Brook Hill School in 2008 as the Athletic Director. Since then, Brook Hill has seen the transformation of our athletic program through the construction of Kyle Lake Athletic Center, Schwab Field, LaRocca Athletic Development Center, turf baseball field, golf simulators, and, most recently, establishing our Athletic Performance and Devleopment Program to help our athletes perform at their best. Hear Wally's story, how he came to Brook Hill, and the true priorities of our athletic program - creating young men and women who are not only strong students and college-ready athletes, but more importantly, disciples of Christ.

Jan Hommel, American Freedom Museum Director
Jan has been part of Brook Hill from the very beginning - whether it was helping start Brook Hill's first summer camps, serving on the original Board of Trustees, or searching for our first Head of School, Jan has championed Brook Hill in word and deed.
