Cam and the Rev… and then there’s Jeff

The guys are back after a busy week. The Rev had his IBJJF match, getting the W. There has been another situation in the West Georgia area of a teacher having an inappropriate relationship with a student, this time a 25 year old female with at least one 16 year old male student. We've talked a lot about this stuff lately, but it keeps happening. Hope you enjoy the episode!

We open the show almost having a hot mic moment about Jeff's Snapchat... Back from the Horseshoe Beach fishing trip, we give a little recap. There were no alligators harmed during this trip, thankfully! We cover cowboy hats and we think Cam is officially hooked!

The guys are back for the last episode before another of our Horseshoe Hookers fishing trips later this week. We've had a busy few weeks with competitions the last two weeks, NAGA and NFC's BrewJitsu this past weekend. We talk through those a little, and the Rev shares about a visit he had, dropping in at a gym in Avon, IN while he was traveling... Shout out to Zero K Jiu-Jitsu and Eric Smith! We'll be off next week, but back with all the tales of the fishing trip the following week. The Rev is also competing in the IBJJS Atlanta Open No-gi on May 3rd, so we'll have that coming up also. We discuss the latest UFC BJJ stuff, which somehow Jeff HAS NO IDEA what it is... but knows all about the PGF. Then Cam HAS NO IDEA what Good Friday actually is, so we help him. Finally, the Rev HAS NO IDEA who Trevor from the gym is, white belt, who is signed up for NAGA, so Cam and Jeff helped him. We're just learning here. We also talk about a coach in Bremen who has been arrested for grooming middle school boys.

Jeff starts the show hot with an accusation toward the Rev that he's been angry with him for the past couple months. We talk about some of the consequences coming out of last week's episode with Greg, mainly Jeff vs. Jett Thompson. We talk a little about the PGF. We talk about Drewski's most recent skits... against conservative white women, and it's hilarious!

Part 2 of our interview with Odyssey's Greg Sirico. We talk about Greg vs Jeff some more... we get into a great non-profit Greg is a big part of the Grappling Growth Initiative (grapplinggrowthinitiative.com). Of all the people on the podcast we would have thought would end up with beef with Greg Sirico from Odyssey IN STUDIO, Jeff would be last on that list... But what do you know? One misplaced crossface during a demonstration and everything was downhill from there. Podcast is in two parts... Cam and the Rev take the reigns as Jeff is still recovering from his injuries at the hands of young Squint over a week ago. Kyle initially gives him the Tom DeBlass / Gordon Ryan treatment and says he's dead... but alas Jefe is still with us, but not in studio due to the vicious twisting leg lock applied by white belt Uriah Acord. C & R talk through the newest season of the PGF and some things we just don't understand about the business model of it... We also talk about a local BJJ school / team that is RAPIDLY growing and throwing a bunch of money into it... They were recently in our local news for a bad reason, but Campeao back in the discussion. ALSO!!! We have a special guest next week... Just know... Jeff is BIG MAD about the match with Squint... In controversial fashion, Uriah heel hooked Jeff allegedly. Then we take a HARD turn into racism and antisemitism... Look we don't make the rules this is just what happens. Also, Jeff tries to derail the conversation ALL THE TIME!!!

We start the show with special guest Dylan Whyte, owner of Positive Balance in Tallahassee. Dylan was coaching his quintet team against the Campeo team when some controversy occurred and Campeo refused to continue after their coaches were thrown out of the event. We get his take... Show some video of the happenings. We also talk about all the other stuff that happened Saturday night including some things from the past, even the origins of Integrity. There were also some really good things including our own TJ Ward taking home the win and having an AMAZING moment with his daughters mat side! Listen... The Rev felt compelled to give us what might become a longstanding saying "I'm not a dentist"... Which while we confirm, he is in fact not a dentist... It might have not been completely relevant to the discussion. Also we get to hear how the Rev also has squashed the beef with Odyssey... dare I say he is actually friends with their head instructor! We also clear up a rumor that Jeff does not have the magic "C" word... not chlamydia, the other one...

The guys give a review of their recent IBJJF Atlanta Open competition, where all 3 of them stepped on the mat on the same day for the first time! Results were interesting, including an out of body experience for one of them! The Rev might have beef with ANOTHER black belt, joining Nate Mann and formerly Odyssey (which he has reconciled with them), now Julio Sandy Salazar Rodriguez (known going forward as JSSR). We take a quick, sad detour into the Nancy Guthrie disappearance and our thoughts. Don't forget about the match coming up, between Jeff and Squint this coming Saturday 2/21 at HIGH NOON!!! It gets a little heavy... no that's not an Ultra joke... We dive into the latest controversy in the jiujitsu world, another allegation of sexual abuse / misconduct, this time against one of the biggest names in the sport. What can / should be done? Who should do it? Does CRJ need to do it's own "To Catch A Predator" ? We also have Jeff's niece hop into the Facebook Live chat and Jeff had no idea who it was... Sad really...

We did something new... Went live on both YouTube and Facebook for this episode, and Facebook got chat got involved. Jeff gives a product review of his new man electric trimmer. Cam and the Rev also somehow talked Jeff into buying them a hat. We also have a firm debate on the smell of marijuana compared to the smell of cigars. We ALSO have a call in from young Squint that calls out Jeff for a superfight, in the gi. More to come on that!

CRJ takes a more serious tone on this episode as we dive into a local to us case, the murder of James and Kristin Brock. They were killed in February of 2025 in their home. Kirstin's daughter, James' stepdaughter, Sarah Grace, 17, has been charged with their murders, for a total of 8 felony charges. This tragedy occurred just miles from Cam and The Rev's homes, in Carrollton, GA USA. In this episode we cover the details that have been released as well as an interview given by the grandfather, that gave many additional details not released by police. We also discuss the bond hearing, in which bond was denied, but there were controversial testimonies for the release of Sarah Grace, including local pastor Ben Bonner of Catalyst Church. This case has split the family and extended families of James and Kristin as some believe in Sarah Grace's innocence, while others support the charges and trust law enforcement and the result of their investigation. The judge in the case has set a tentative trial date for January 5, 2026, but there are several pre-trial proceedings that we will be sure to cover. Hosted on Acast. The boys are back from a week off with the ADCC Atlanta Open Recap. With some Horseshoe Hookers trip stuff sprinkled in. Integrity BJJ finished 6th overall in team points, a HUGE accomplishment for a small gym. We had some really high, highs and some pretty low, lows on the day, but overall it was great. Austin won the Masters Advanced 76kg, Kyle placed 2nd in Masters Advanced 100+kg. We had multiple others medal, some gold, some silver and others that just putting it on the line and coming up short.
