S2E1: The Map Is Not the Territory
No matter how detailed our plans are, life has a way of reminding us that reality doesn’t always follow the script. In this episode, we dive into the concept of "the map is not the territory"—a powerful reminder that our mental models, plans, and expectations are just representations, not reality itself. Whether you're navigating personal growth, relationships, or career moves, this episode is about embracing uncertainty without losing direction.

E23: Does struggle = success?
Every ''success'' story shares the same formula: being broke, working multiple jobs to the point of burnout, and living in your car or on someone's couch. Otherwise, you haven't struggled. And if you haven't struggled, then have you truly earned it? Who defines what struggle is and what it looks like? Is struggle a one-size-fits-all or is it subjective? In this episode, we explore the topic of struggle as I reject the premise that struggling is the only road to substantial success.

E22: Expectations, disappointments, and the spectrum of human interactions
Expectations are inherent in all relationships, whether with family, friends, romantic partners, or colleagues. We anticipate certain behaviors, reactions, or outcomes based on our perceptions, experiences, and desires. However, what happens when these expectations are not met? Disappointment sets in, accompanied by frustration, resentment, or even anger; therein lies the complexity of human interactions. In this episode, we explore the unpredictability of human nature; how everyone is truly doing their best from their level of consciousness; and how there is no such thing as black or white as it pertains to the human experience.

E21: What they don't tell you about healing
Healing is not for the faint of heart. It's also not a one-and-done process. It's perpetual, full of curve balls; it becomes a part of you - should you choose to accept it. Healing is a lot of things yet, there's a lot that it is not. In this episode, we explore our host's truths about healing; what's said and unsaid about starting on your healing journey; how conniving ego can be throughout; why there are no shortcuts to healing; and a few more things in between.

E20: Are your dreams your own or are they inherited?
Are you living a life you've envisioned for yourself or one you think you "should" be living? How much of your dreams; goals; and aspirations have been influenced (maybe even entirely imposed upon you) by societal pressures, familial expectations, or cultural norms? In this episode, we unravel the complexities of dream ownership and explore why some are successful in pursuing their dreams while others might not be.

E19: Is it vain to want to look good?
What does it mean to be truly comfortable in one's skin? If you look good, you feel good, but where does the desire to look good stem from, because ''good'' is subjective - isn't it? Is it from a place of loving ourselves as we are and wanting to bask in it? Or from a place of insecurity that intersects with our sense of self-worth? In this episode, it's vanity vs. insecurities. Join us as we dissolve insecurity-based decisions -- and fillers!

E18: Comfort zones, unknowns, and the known zone
Comfort zones feel safe, to a certain extent. But is that false sense of security a blessing or a crutch? The only constant in life is change and as such, we're constantly engaged in an intricate dance between comfort zones and the unknown. But what about the in-between area; the known zone? In this episode, we explore the parameters of comfort zones, the unknowns, and the knowns; the value of adopting a beginner's mindset; and the transformative power of venturing beyond what we thought capable - one story at a time!

E17: Why you don't have anything nice to say
"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" because whatever criticism you feel called to express, often reveals more about your insecurities than about the person or situation you're commenting on. Conversely, if you have something nice to say, shout it from the rooftops because not only will that uplift others, but it'll make you feel good to do so. In this episode, we explore how words can quite literally make or break you - when they're said at the right place at the right time.

E16: Understanding your emotional needs 101
What does giving and receiving emotional support look like to you? We all love differently and as such, express and expect love differently in relationships. But what happens when support gets lost in translation because two people aren't speaking the same emotional language? In this episode, we examine the significance of self-awareness because it's only through understanding your emotional needs and navigating the terrain of your relationship with your own emotional body, that you'll be able to improve the quality of your relationships with those outside of yourself.

E15: People pleasing and hiding behind ''i love them''
Whether it's within familial dynamics; platonic, romantic, or even professional relationships, people-pleasing tendencies are present and they compromise our behavior, to some extent. In this episode, we discuss people pleasing in confrontation, the difference between transactional love and unconditional love, maintaining relationships at the expense of your peace of mind, and the all-too-common excuse of "I love them" that's used to justify allowing others to overstep our boundaries, with a few stories here and there. Maybe, just maybe, it's time to reassess and redefine what it means to love and care for others by shifting the narrative from ''I love them'' to "I love them but I love me first and foremost".

E14: Comparison as the thief of joy + revenge motivation
Comparison is the thief of joy and yet, could you be using that as an excuse? Comparison is inevitable as part of the human experience and yet, comparison is what we make it; a thief of joy or a bearer of inspiration. In this episode, we discuss the duality of comparison and the lessons learned along the way - one story at a time.

E13: Bedroom posters, vision boards, and the inspiration you seek
Who was your hero growing up? Who's posters were up on your bedroom walls? Walls speak louder than words and odds are, your walls played a significant role in the development of your personality! You weren't the only one to develop though; those posters have, with time, developed into vision boards; the shows you watch; the people you follow on social media; and the different wellsprings you draw inspiration from. In this episode, we discuss the seed of inspiration and the art of curating a life that inspires you.

E12: Energetic hangover and resting the wrong way
The aftermath of energetic highs and energetic lows is the energetic hangover - feeling drained like you've had the wind knocked out of you when in reality, you've barely lifted a finger. Your body's instinct is to rest, but that doesn't necessarily mean that rest is your mind's instinct. What if we told you that you could be ''resting'' the wrong way? In this episode, we discuss the nuances of an energetic hangover as well as the art of resting. It's time to recharge, recover, and embrace a more energized version of yourself!

E11: Affirmations and why they're bullsh*t
Affirmations are bullsh*t (on the one hand), and they are empowering (on the other hand). Two things can be true because each exists within a certain context. In this episode, we discuss both truths as they pertain to affirming your way to personal transformation - one affirmation at a time!

E10: 3 things to make your resolutions successful
'New year, new me' is exciting inspiring, and magical; in theory. It's easy to get swept away in the thrill of resolutions for the new year, but how often do these resolutions stick? When you hit the ground running, how long are you actually on the ground for? In this episode, we discuss the 3 things that have worked for me in the past, through trial and error, when it comes to making resolutions successful.

E9: Crossing boundaries and people pleasing
How many of your decisions have been dictated by what would please others? How many times have you ''compromised'' or ''sacrificed'' yourself to avoid disappointing others? How many times have you dimmed your light so that others can shine? In this episode, we're reflecting on the importance of setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, shifting away from playing the supporting character and towards being the main character in our story, proudly owning up to people-pleasing tendencies, and stepping into our villain era if that's what it takes to protect our peace of mind.

E8: I saw a therapist and here's how it went
''You have to feel it to heal it'' and sometimes to get to the healing, we rush through the feeling. In this episode, we get personal about the resistance, judgment, and shame around seeking support for mental and emotional well-being.

E7: Understanding limiting core beliefs and how they influence your thought + behavior patterns
What you see is not what you get...because how you see is distorted. The voice in your mind that dictates how you think and behave, whose voice is it? In this episode, we explore the origins of limiting core beliefs, how they're cemented in our minds through confirmation bias, and the ways in which they influence our perceptions, and ultimately, our reality.

E6: Navigating the blurred lines of toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing
When the going gets tough, the tough sometimes need a minute to let it all sink in. As badly as you may want it, you can't fast-track your way to emotional relief; the only way out is through. In this episode, we explore the often-overlooked yet subtle coping mechanisms known as toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing that, despite their well-meaning nature, often do more emotional harm than good.

E5: What is grief? (ft. Jennifer Semaan, LPC)
Grief is an inevitable universal emotion, yet it remains one of the most untalked-of, isolating, and challenging waters to navigate as part of the human experience. In this episode, we're joined by Jennifer Semaan, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), as she co-leads the conversation around what grief is, survivor's guilt, and more.

E4: I'm scared of looking stupid
“I never knew that this was social anxiety. I never knew that what I was experiencing was panic attacks. I just felt like there was something wrong with me because I’m scared of looking stupid”. In this episode, we recount past experiences during which I was scared to look stupid in new social settings, laugh it off now that we’re on the other side, and walk away with a lighthearted (and maybe even, dare I say, empowering!) and newfound sense of ease for navigating new social situations moving forward.

E3: Meditation for non-meditators
"I can't meditate...I have too many thoughts!" was my initial response to meditation. I thought that I was doing it wrong or that there was something wrong with me. But in reality, it’s (almost) every non-meditators initial response to sitting down and being still. In this episode, we journey from ''I can't meditate’’ to navigating the ups and downs of cultivating a sustainable daily practice, sharing insights from personal stories and professional experience as a Chopra Meditation Instructor.

E2: So many habits, so little time
We all want to be happier and healthier versions of ourselves, but is that want enough? When you make it personal and you turn healthy habits from something “you should do” to something with an emotional drive behind it, you’re giving your well-being a fighting chance. In this episode, we observe the shift from forcing habits into your routine to cultivating a meaningful practice of self-care and self-love — one healthy habit at a time.

E1: Fu*k it, do it scared!
After years of playing around with the idea, I finally said ''fu*k it'' and did the damn thing. I launched my own podcast! Starting something new is both a thrilling and terrifying experience and in this episode, we approach the experience of newness from two separate lenses: fear of failure and fear of success.
