Sororities & Sisterhood: The Kids are Alright
Photo by Becca Tapert on UnsplashIn the digital age, social media has largely usurped face-to-face interaction, devaluing friendship and real connection. The best way I’ve found to combat this trend in my own life is by joining and being involved in my sorority (Kappa Delta, Beta Alpha Chapter). For this project, I interviewed several of my sisters to give voice to why sororities are still so attractive to young women. What I heard was indicatively wholesome.Special thanks to Addie Mall, Emilia Gibbs, Maggie Meares, Ryan Rammacher, Issy Denevan, and Lindsey Smith for speaking with me!
