Tonight we will be joined by Drew Gregory a professional kayak and tournament bass angler. Drew is well known in the kayak bass fishing world and is a great angler with wins at every national tournament level including Hobie BOS, KBF, and Bassmaster Kayak Series Champion! He is a moving water angler at heart and loves to push up into skinny water and find huge fish. He also runs his own Tournament Series in the Kayak Adventure Series which is very near and dear to us and has become one of our favorites to fish! Tonight we will be discussing the first ever Indiana event The Great Midwestivus II out of Plymouth Indiana. This will be such an awesome event and we can't wait to hear Drew tell all about it as we prepare for a great time on and off the water!

We are officially back in Indiana after an awesome week in warmer weather and kayak fishing every day on Lake Marion off Santee Cooper! This was such a great trip and it was made even better by the people over at Relaxed Retreat! We are home from what was the most fun tournament we've fished. If you're interested in fishing tournaments and have a Kayak Adventure Series event near you then you need to check it out. We made a 13 hour drive to get to this and would do it again. We found some awesome water and enjoyed the wildlife we saw and the people we got to meet. Thank you Drew Gregory and your team for putting on yet another awesome event. Join us as we discuss what our overall thoughts were of this tournament and what we would have done different.

This was such a fun trip to Tennessee with the main goal in mind being to get my wife on her first ever smallmouth bass. We will be making a trip up to Minnesota in a week to chase big smallies at the Kayak Adventure Series event. We started out by fishing the Caney Fork River which was beautiful and then day 2 on the water was a secret smallmouth creek. Lets just say the goal was accomplished as there were a lot of smallies caught. Listen in as we tell about the good, bad, and ugly of this trip. There were so many laughs and several carry over to this livestream.

Today we are discussing the outcome of the kayak bass fishing month long tournaments we competed in. The weather including water temperatures have been very different this year from normal and the fishing was tough. We both made some mistakes that cost us big fish but we were able to put together limits including Calah's first ever in a tournament. We also discuss our experiences with frog fishing and some of our failures and victories in learning this awesome technique.
