His sculptures are typically defined by modernist forms, precise fabrication, and an emphasis on the interplay between structure, movement, and the natural elements. He is also the founder along with his family of The Mother Earth Project in 2015 in Maryland - they were inspired by Barton’s meeting with Al Gore in 2006. Motivated by Gore’s environmental advocacy, the family began adopting sustainable practices at home, which eventually led their community to become a model for sustainability, including initiatives like LED street lighting. With their murals, sculptures and parachutes, the Project has become a global movement aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals - or [email protected] · 301.654.5406 MalcolmPresents.com;YouTube;Facebook - Celebrating Everyday PeopleBuzzsprout.com
