Consider all aspects carefully, from where the wheelchair user will sit, to how they will access the vehicle. • What’s the Motability Scheme? This allows anyone to lease a vehicle if they have a minimum of 12 months remaining on one of these: Armed Forces Independence Payment, War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, or the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance.
