Dr. Charles E. Perry, Jr., is a native of Houston, Texas. He answered the call of God to preach the gospel in 1984, under the leadership of his father, Charles E. Perry, Sr. Dr. Charles E. Perry, Jr., is the Founder, Senior Pastor and Visionary of Word of Restoration (WOR) located in Rosharon, Texas.In February 2001, he started WOR with 13 people. God gave him the vision of Restoring Lives with the Word of God and the assignment to build Him a city, “The City of Restoration”. In 2005, he led the church into a land purchase of 44 Acres and in 2009 moved into the new sanctuary at the “City of Restoration”. In 2012, he led the church into a 1.2 million dollar “Debt-Free” Youth Facility for elementary and middle school youth.Under Dr. Perry’s leadership, WOR continues to be a thriving and life-restoring church for people of all walks of life.
