Dr. Amira Millicent Davis, PhD is our guest for this episode of CBBN Business Journals. She has been involved with the drum-dance culture for over 30 years, studying West African dance, drumming, and percussion with nationally and internationally recognized master artists from the African Diaspora. Attorney L. Darrell Robinson, who was once a troubled child and himself a high school dropout. At the age of 18 moved from his home is South Carolina and got a job as a bellboy in DC. When he suffered a near-death car accident in 1998, he emerged a different man. Determined now NOT to live a life of desolation and poverty, he entered community college. His academics and determination attracted the attention of Barton College, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship and graduated from North Carolina Central Law Schoolin 2005. Ms. Eleanor Chatman 1s a pioneer in the world of International Travel. As a true educator, she believes that world travel permits African Americans to expand beyond the borders of the United States and acquire an understanding of the fact that we have a world history. In 1976 her business was approved by the Air Traffic Conference of America. She then opened Mahogany Travel Service.
