COLOGNE TECHNO CLUB-CLASSIQUES 1993 - 2005 [nvr based on hype but made by our audience and our club nights what they still are till 2day] Still no new real "Post-Corona" club life in Germany! And so there is only one more recourse to one of the many 674.fm radio broadcasts hosted by Psycho Thrill Cologne. It doesn't always have to be the obvious "power-hour" peak-time tracks that make the sweat drip from the club's ceiling. In his mix for the NACHTAKTIV collective in Cologne, Claus Bachor deliberately uses the category of tracks that DJs and vinyl nerds often only discovered for themselves at the second attempt and then made a club hit. Trackwerk that is no less hypnotic and just as natural at the end of the day, mesmerizing and hypnotizing every dancer and continue to do so. Nor should it go unmentioned that all of these tracks played here had and still have their not insignificant impact on Cologne/Rine area club life in the past as well as today. In the history of germany's night clubbing there are a few spaces that are probably held in higher regard than Ultraschall. Munich's gone but not forgotten famous ULTRASCHALL (june 17.1994 - january 31.2003) used to be the Southern German metropolitan’s wildest and most open-minded venue for techno and other game forms of electronic music like House, Future Minimal and IDM. It finally became one of a few real German techno club legends till today. The driving force(s) behind all used to be Peter Wacher (Disko B records) also known as DJ Upstart, Captain Reality and David Süß, where the whole world league of Techno and House DJs used to play at this club. "I will never, never forget so many great nights there. If you are listening carefully to this mix you can hear the people there scream."
