Roseann Sureda knows how to work an audience. Looking like a vintage star, the sumptuous performer from the Hudson Valley is on the cusp of big things since her gig at The Metropolitan Room. 2019 was a stellar year for singer-songwriter and producer. Joyce Spencer is an award-winning saxophonist, flutist and vocalist from Dallas, TX, Joyce covers the gamut of musical influence, style and genre from traditional to contemporary jazz and classical to R&B, funk, fusion, blues, pop, and Gospel/Christian.  The mixing and blending of musical styles in her upbringing is definitely her forte and an asset to writing music and entertainment.  Whether it's upbeat music or sultry smooth jazz or ballads, Joyce provides sensational musical entertainment on saxophone (soprano, alto, and tenor), flute and vocals that caters to the fans or venue.  Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education where she also studied saxophone and flute, classical and jazz, theater, and radio and TV broadcasting.  She also participated in the college choir, stage plays, and musicals.  After a brief period with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra on flute, Joyce moved from Louisiana to Texas where her career shifted to corporate America; however, she returned with sheer determination over seven years ago with her first album, "Sweet Dreams", and has since released several more projects, including the latest jazz album. Marco is an established pianist/keyboardist/producer with an background in playing Latin music for over 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area.  In addition to playing with most of the Latin/Salsa bands in the area, he has shared the stage with many Latin greats such as Oscar DeLeon, Pete Escovedo, El Gan Combo, Richard Bean (Malo), Giovani Hidalgo & more.  Kevin Lewis began playing the drums at the age of five when his father brought home a beat up old Ludwig drum kit for him to start practicing on. Kevin was self-taught until he was able to join the school band in fourth grade. He excelled in the Jazz and Marching Band in High School at which point he was the section leader.   Ken Navarro is amazing! Italian-American Contemporary Jazz guitarist and composer. He first received recognition as a solo artist in 1990 with his song "Try Again" from his debut CD The River Flows. Other well known songs from his 19 releases include "Eric's Dream", "Delicioso", "Smooth Sensation","You Are Everything", "The Meeting Place", "Daddy-O", "The Stars, The Snow, The Fire" and "Dreaming of Trains". His recordings have featured other notable Contemporary Jazz artists including saxophonists Brandon Fields and Eric Marienthal, bassists Tom Kennedy and Gary Grainger, and drummer Joel Rosenblatt. His latest recording "Dreaming of Trains" was released on March 16, 2010 and has been pre-nominated in 2 Grammy award categories.
