This next part on the long road to Infinite Crisis takes place in a land far far away! This week you'll see all sorts of cosmic heroes and villains from Adam Strange to members of L.E.G.I.O.N and the Green Lantern Corps.

The Spectre is being seduced to rid the entire DC universe of its magic. There's a ragtag team of magic wielders trying to stop them, but a familiar villain is in the way! The road to Infinite Crisis continues!

2 of marvels biggest and oldest teams face off over one major force coming to Earth: The Phoenix Force! The last time it was on Earth Jean Grey almost couldn't contain it and one planet was destroyed in the process. The Avengers do not want that next planet to be Earth. The X-Men see the Phoenix Force as a possible salvation for rebuilding the mutant population after the devastating aftermath of House of M. They clash almost instantly in this opening part to a major event that shook both teams for years to come!

X Factor X Force and Excalibur join forces with Profess X to thwart the Phalanx and their grand plans. Who is left to rescue the captured X Men? Cyclops and Jean Grey travel back from their Honeymoon and are met by Wolverine and Cable! Are they enough to get the job done? We find out this week!

The techno organic race called the phalanx have been trying to assimilate mutants into their collective since their formation. The mutant gene seems resistant to being absorbed, so the X-Men have been targeted for capture and termination. While the X-Men are held captive the Phalanx try to make a run on Professor Xaviers list of young mutants who have just discovered their powers. Banshee has the most ragtag of ragtag teams to help these kids before they are captured as well!

It all comes down to this! The heroes have gathered from the brink of defeat to knock down Amanda Wallers door and defeat her army of amazos!
