Although time is tight, an unmissable opportunity arose to share with you a song from our llanera music: "El Calvario de un Amor," composed by the master Reynaldo Armas. Those lyrics that hurt and embrace the soul, so very much ours, so Venezuelan. Todo comenzó en la Librería del Terminal de Pasajeros de Maracay, "Libros 24 Horas", con sus orgullosos 46 años de trayectoria. Ahí nos visitó el gran amigo Diego López, conocido en esta plataforma como @encuentro. Con su sonrisa eterna y ese espíritu colaborador, me propuso grabar y compartir este tema. ¡Y cómo decir que no, imposible! Sacamos el cuatro que siempre tengo listo para una serenata improvisada –ya sea para amistades, clientes o esa bella dama que ilumina el día– y cantamos a dúo. Al son del pasaje llanero, el rasgueo del cuatro y las voces entrelazadas... Con puro sentimiento. Everything started at the "Libros 24 Horas" Bookstore in the Maracay Passenger Terminal, with its proud 46 years of history. There, we were visited by our great friend Diego López, known on this platform as @encuentro. With his eternal smile and collaborative spirit, he proposed that we record and share this song. And how could I say no? Impossible! We took out the cuatro that I always have ready for an improvised serenade – whether for friends, clients, or that beautiful lady who lights up the day – and we sang as a duo. To the rhythm of the pasaje llanero, the strumming of the cuatro, and intertwined voices... With pure feeling. Estos encuentros ciertamente hacen más ameno el día a día. En un rincón donde se cruzan viajeros, libros e historia venezolana, revivimos nuestra esencia. Porque cantar lo nuestro no es solo música: es conectar con las raíces, evocar el llano, las penas de amor que se curan al compartirlas. Me llena de satisfacción poder traer esto a nuestra comunidad musical en Hive, donde el talento florece más allá de las fronteras. These encounters certainly make daily life more pleasant. In a corner where travelers, books, and Venezuelan history cross paths, we revived our essence. Because singing what is ours is not just music: it is connecting with our roots, evoking the plains, and the heartaches that are healed by sharing them. It fills me with satisfaction to be able to bring this to our musical community on Hive, where talent flourishes beyond borders. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=cultural3/dioukllv Hoy quiero compartir en este Video publicado en #3speak algunas reflexiones que surgen al caminar por las calles, escuchando los sonidos de la naturaleza e imaginando un futuro diferente para mi amada Venezuela. Muchas veces pasamos por la vida sin darnos cuenta de que "la basura de una persona es el tesoro de otra". Así cómo un simple trozo de cartón o un periódico viejo podría convertirse en un lazo para regalo o en un adorno para un libro. Ahí, en nuestra vida diaria, reside nuestro potencial de crecimiento. El reciclaje no es sólo una tarea ambiental para reducir la contaminación; es una oportunidad de oro para crear muchos empleos y construir una industria que hemos olvidado hace ya muchos años. Inspirándome en la historia de Harry Potter, no pude evitar establecer paralelismos con nuestra realidad. Así como J.K. Rowling creó un mundo que cambia el mundo, nosotros tenemos nuestra propia "Piedra Filosofal": educar y preparar quiénes somos. Es el verdadero elixir que nos permitirá algún día dejar de depender completamente del rentismo, del petróleo. Venezuela tiene tesoros dormidos que es necesario despertar. Recuerdo que en la época de Don Juan Vicente Gómez, las orillas del Lago de Valencia eran un buen lugar de reunión de Turistas con sus familias. Hoy en día, lugares como la Isla del Burro o el Museo Antropológico de Maracay pueden ser muy bien, un motor impulsor del turismo. Imagínese si aprovechamos nuestra historia y nuestros mitos, como la leyenda de la “cámara secreta” debajo del museo, para atraer visitantes. No hay duda de que el turismo es el “otro petróleo” que puede aumentar el PIB si cambiamos nuestra perspectiva y transformamos estos espacios en herramientas de expansión recreacional, espiritual y material. Empecé a jugar con mi imaginación: ¿Y si los personajes de Hogwarts fueran venezolanos? En mi opinión, este casting sería una gran celebración de nuestro talento. Simón Díaz sería nuestro Harry Potter, quien marca el rumbo sobre el espejo del río. María Teresa Chacín, inteligente y talentosa, sería nuestra Hermione. Canserbero sería nuestro Snape, un hombre incomprendido que se convirtió en un gran mensajero de la verdad. Y, por supuesto, Gustavo Dudamel sería Dumbledore: el profesor sabio y extremadamente talentoso. Lo que realmente importa es nuestra capacidad de levantarnos de las cenizas, como lo hicieron los autores de estos libros. Pienso que; todo venezolano tiene la capacidad de cambiar su realidad a partir de su autoestima. No vivimos en Privet Drive, vivimos en una tierra bendita donde los cantos de los pájaros en nuestros jardines agradables, serán la fuerza impulsora para luchar y asegurar la vida a las generaciones futuras.. Many times we go through life without realizing that "one person's trash is another person's treasure." Just how a simple piece of cardboard or an old newspaper could become a gift wrap or a decoration for a book. There, in our daily lives, lies our potential for growth. Recycling is not just an environmental task to reduce pollution; it is a golden opportunity to create many jobs and build an industry that we have forgotten about for many years. Inspired by the story of Harry Potter, I couldn't help but draw parallels with our reality. Just as J.K. Rowling created a world that changes the world, we have our own "Philosopher's Stone": to educate and prepare who we are. It is the true elixir that will someday allow us to stop being completely dependent on rent-seeking, on oil. Venezuela has dormant treasures that need to be awakened. I remember that during the time of Don Juan Vicente Gómez, the shores of Lake Valencia were a good meeting place for tourists with their families. Nowadays, places like Isla del Burro or the Anthropological Museum of Maracay could very well be a driving force for tourism. Canserbero would be our Snape, a misunderstood man who became a great messenger of truth. And, of course, Gustavo Dudamel would be Dumbledore: the wise and extremely talented professor. What really matters is our ability to rise from the ashes, just as the authors of these books did. I believe that every Venezuelan has the capacity to change their reality starting from their self-esteem. Hoy, luego de algun tiempo de haber abierto la cuenta de #Hive, aparté un espacio y aproveché para hacer mi #presentación, como es lo adecuado en esta red social. Soy Lenín Aquino, nacido en Valle de la Pascua, Estado Guárico. A los 12 años migré al centro del país, concretamente a Maracay, Estado Aragua, Venezuela, en busca de mejores oportunidades de trabajo y estudio para mi familia. En Maracay me involucré profundamente en el movimiento cultural. Formé parte y luego fundé el Movimiento Cultural San Ignacio, junto a una gran cantidad de jóvenes, cuando tenía apenas 15 años. Con ese movimiento aprendí a trabajar con la comunidad y la sociedad. Organizábamos actividades de teatro, danza, música coral, y promovíamos el cooperativismo a través de cooperativas de consumo de alimentos. También gestionamos un centro médico vecinal, un laboratorio de bioanálisis, un centro odontológico, un parque de recreación dirigida, un estadio y varias canchas deportivas. Durante siete años luchamos para salvar un pequeño bosque en la avenida Aragua. Finalmente, ganamos esa batalla y logramos convertir el terreno en el Parque Ecológico Simón Bolívar, que hoy sigue existiendo. Pasé 14 años de mi vida en ese proceso, hasta que fui electo concejal de la ciudad de Maracay por el movimiento vecinal. Ejercí como concejal durante cuatro años, siendo muy joven, y presidí la Comisión de Ambiente y Calidad de Vida de la ciudad. Me dediqué a trabajar por el medio ambiente, enfrentando problemas graves de contaminación. Logramos cerrar una empresa química que afectaba la salud pública y la trasladamos a otro lugar del país, donde pudiera confinar sus elementos tóxicos. También conseguimos que se retirara una empresa tabacalera ubicada junto a una escuela en la Barraca de Maracay. Estas acciones nos dieron un perfil de lucha ecológica y defensa de la ciudad. A los 20 años fundé una librería junto a mi hermano Simón en el terminal de pasajeros de Maracay, la cual ya tiene 46 años atendiendo al público. Posteriormente, creamos una imprenta, donde comenzamos a imprimir libros, leyes, folletos y periódicos. Me inicié en el periodismo vecinal, cultural, ecológico y social, y me vinculé con los sectores industriales y comerciales de la región. He formado parte de muchas luchas sociales en este estado. También trabajé en radio: tres años en Radio Continente y cuatro años en Radio Rumbos Cadena Nacional. Siempre he estado vinculado al movimiento social. Actualmente formo parte del movimiento musical Encuentro Venezolano, junto a Diego López y otros cultores del país, realizando un trabajo social enfocado en difundir la música, los valores, la lectura y la cultura venezolana. Próximamente compartiré algunas de mis actividades audiovisuales para el conocimiento de la historia de Venezuela y del mundo. Llegué a esta red social gracias al trabajo que viene realizando @encuentro, un proyecto con el que me siento profundamente identificado. Me di cuenta de que este ecosistema es un lugar para compartir cosas constructivas y agradables. Esto es magnífico en estos tiempos de tanta polémica. I spent 14 years of my life in that process until I was elected councilman of the city of Maracay by the neighborhood movement. I served as a councilman for four years, being very young, and chaired the Environment and Quality of Life Commission of the city. I dedicated myself to working for the environment, facing serious pollution problems. We managed to shut down a chemical company that affected public health and relocated it to another part of the country where it could confine its toxic elements. We also succeeded in having a tobacco company removed that was located next to a school in La Barraca de Maracay. These actions gave us a profile of ecological struggle and defense of the city. At the age of 20, I founded a bookstore with my brother Simón at the Maracay bus terminal, which has now been serving the public for 46 years. Later, we created a printing press, where we began printing books, laws, pamphlets, and newspapers. I began in neighborhood, cultural, ecological, and social journalism, and I became involved with the industrial and commercial sectors of the region. I have been part of many social struggles in this state. I also worked in radio: three years at Radio Continente and four years at Radio Rumbos National Network. I have always been linked to the social movement. I am currently part of the musical movement Encuentro Venezolano, along with Diego López and other cultural promoters of the country, carrying out social work focused on spreading Venezuelan music, values, reading, and culture.
