D2 and Stuff

The Power of the Spoken Word. D2 goes outside the box and continues their learning curve with technology as they discuss playoff baseball and what's wrong with the playoff system as it stands today. The presidential election is coming to a close and these guys feel like they have something to say. Okland finally gets his way and brings his first music review courtesy of the band Airbourne. And, Kevin Morris makes a strong impact with spoken word to open and close the show. This episode has train wreck written all over it, but you can't look, or listen, away!

After four weeks, the D2 boys are back. These guys are ready to experiment so they decide it's time to test love and play with dating sites, but the jury's still out as to whether this bit has legs. Kevin finally gets to tell the real story about how Canada went wrong. Dallas and Detroit brings us Quarterback love and the boys discuss. There's been some up's and downs for Kev and Sean the last couple of weeks but it all seems to EVEN out. D2 closes the show with some fun with movie quotes and we're off and running again. Dig in!

It's 1994 again as Colorado takes on Michigan. Ahh, memories. Michigan's two deep is a little different this time around. High Five guy goes where no man should go. And a new spin on Dallas - Detroit news.

In episode 4, the fellas discuss how Sean sold out Kevin. The Detroit Tigers are in town for a 3 game set, the guys are all over it. Training camp is around the corner and how annoying is it to fly!

Kevin and Sean move on to their second episode with better production value still alluding them. They didn't let that keep them from moving forward as the boys discuss work place situations, condescending greetings and goodbyes, and the goings on with all things Dallas and Detroit sports. Oh and a nice conclusion, showing their difference in age, with a hot debate on Motley Crue vs. Pearl Jam!

Kevin travels with his lovely wife to New York and Canada. Of course, we won't discuss the trek to Canada in this episode. However, first podcast where we have one host over the phone and not in studio. Nothing will go wrong at all.

Finally, the D2 boys figure out how to do a podcast. Or come real close and stuff. All the equipment is working and Sean and Kevin make the most of it. As the weeks go by more and more gold comes from the new coworkers and it's too good to not talk about. Also, Morris and Okland talk about the Netflix documentary, "Last Chance U". Kevin has issues with Facebook memes...and needs to discuss. Finally, more Dallas and Detroit sports updates as well. It's all here!

Sean Okland and Kevin Morris met at work around the summer of 2011 in Dallas Texas. They soon realized they have a lot of the same interests and became friends quickly. Sean is the old guy at age 44 and has lived most of his life in Dallas Texas. Kevin is 35 and hails from Detroit Michigan. In March of this year these two decided to start a podcast. They both had many ideas and anecdotes they felt would translate well to the podcast medium. So, D2 was born. D2 references the areas they come from (Dallas & Detroit). The first couple of episodes were a little rough as one might expect. Equipment issues, learning the conversational back and forth chemistry, and trying to eliminate as many dull ideas and segments was challenging for the duo. However, these two kept plugging away and each episode has improved over time. One thing is for sure, content and passion will never be lacking with D2.
