The Everyday absurdity theory
In this episode, I lean into the everyday observations we all think about but rarely say out loud. I talk about why kids don’t play outside the way they used to and what that shift says about how life has changed. I vent about the ongoing struggle with self-checkout and how technology somehow makes simple things more complicated. And I wrap it up with some comfort TV talk, including why shows like My 600-lb Life keep pulling us in.

Episode 3: This is 40
This is 40 where life is funny, expensive, emotional, and somehow still beautiful. In this episode I’m talking about what getting older really feels like, from growing up with my mom as my school bus driver (so she ALWAYS knew what I was doing 😭) to realizing we’re living in a world where the McDonald’s dollar menu is gone and bills don’t miss. It’s real, it’s honest, it’s grown-man life… with a lot of laughter in between.

Episode 2 Regret| Dad at the table
Regret doesn’t come from doing the wrong thing. It comes from not doing anything at all.We spend years replaying moments we wish we handled differently.Conversations we avoided.Chances we talked ourselves out of.Versions of ourselves we were afraid to become. And here’s the hard truth. You can’t change what happened. But you can decide what happens next.Regret isn’t a sentence. It’s a signal. It’s your mind reminding you that you still care. That you still want more. That there’s still time to move.Stop using regret as proof that you failed.Use it as proof that you’re awake. The only real loss is letting yesterday keep choosing tomorrow.

Episode 1: Hello, Fear | Dad at the Table
Fear doesn’t just scare you it stalls you.In this first episode of Dad at the Table, I talk about how fear quietly keeps us stuck: putting off goals, shrinking plans, choosing comfort over growth, and convincing ourselves that “later” is safer than now.I talk about what it looks like to put yourself first without guilt, how fear disguises itself as responsibility, and why waiting until you feel ready is often the thing holding you back. This isn’t motivation. It’s perspective. If fear has been slowing you down, this conversation is for you.Welcome to the table.
