December bonus features (featuring Charlie Nobbins!)
It’s time to crack open the DVD extras menu. 🎬 In this Bonus Features episode of Dan & Frankie Go To Hollywood, we’re joined by the ever-knowledgeable, ever-dangerous Charlie Nobbins for a loose, laugh-heavy end-of-year hang. We kick things off with what we’ve been watching lately, bouncing between recent discoveries, overdue classics and the usual detours that happen when film nerds are left unsupervised. Then it’s our final round of Nobbins Knowledge trivia for the year, where facts are tested, confidence is misplaced, and bragging rights are absolutely claimed. We also spin the wheel on Reelin’ in the Years, revisiting films from the past that are either underseen, underappreciated or plain unheard of. From there, it’s full free-range podcasting: general chat, cinematic tangents, life stuff, and an unexpectedly long and deeply passionate discussion about quality footwear. Boots. Shoes. Craftsmanship. You’ve been warned. Casual, chaotic, and very much “plus a whole lot more” — this one’s pure bonus content energy.

Episode 57: Movie discoveries of 2025 (featuring Liam and Nobbins!)
In this episode of Dan and Frankie Go to Hollywood, we’re joined by UK film obsessive Liam Underwood and returning chaos merchant Charlie Nobbins for a deep dive into our favourite movie discoveries of 2025. The twist? None of these films actually came out in 2025. Instead, we’re talking about older movies we somehow missed the first time around and then stumbled across like buried treasure. Cult classics, forgotten gems, and “how the hell did I not see this sooner?” moments all get a run, as we swap recommendations, argue our cases, and gently roast each other’s taste. It’s a love letter to late discoveries, overdue rewatches, and the joy of finding a film at exactly the right moment in your life. If you love movies, lists, passionate opinions, and a bit of unfiltered podcast chaos, this one’s for you.

Keira Knightley steps into the Banger or Bomb arena as Dan and Frankie dive into two films they’d somehow never watched. First up, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, where Keira navigates espionage, conspiracies and Chris Pine’s cheekbones. Then it’s Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, a melancholy road trip through cosmic doom with Keira and Steve Carell trying to outrun oblivion. Two films. One actor. Zero preparation. Maximum chaos. Is Keira serving bangers, dropping bombs, or doing something wonderfully in-between?

It’s spooky season, and Frankie and Dan are diving into two of the wildest horror-comedy curiosities ever made! In this Halloween special of Made You Look, we each picked a movie the other had never seen — and let’s just say, there were feelings. Frankie brings the pink-haired chaos of Puppet Killer (2019), a bonkers blend of slasher tropes, sentient plush toys and pure camp energy. Dan counters with the cult insanity of Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001) — the only movie where the Son of God drop-kicks undead lesbians in Ottawa. Expect horror, hilarity, and way too many theological debates over fake blood. 👀 Watch. Laugh. Repent.
