Deenga the folk quintet from Kolkata have catapulated to fame recently. Their presentation of folk song's and original number's boasts of an invigorating originality which set's them apart from the hundred's of other band'.Deenga's originality is not a deliberate cynical hypocrisy.In fact it is he result of their willingness to consider any folk element as a viable element.One of the reason's why Deenga are so inseparably tight-other than sheer determination and hard work is the fact that it lies in the like mindedness of the members in the field of music.Deenga was assembled by RAHUL-bass,INDRAJIT-drums,BABLU-key's,SAUMIK-vocal,PUNYADIP and NEEL-guitar.On.. 2004 Deenga realesed its first album.It was an ambitious venture,which succeeded in taking the band out of their rehersal pad and thrust them into the bigger arena of music-AND SO THE JOURNEY CONTINUES............... Deenga came out with their new album titled DOOB SATAR from Universal Music on 8th Oct 2013
