The Golden Eagles have produced individual and team state champions, all-state recognized athletes, and hall of fame coaches. Since 1959 there have been many great moments, victories, and heartbreaking losses. The Defend the Hill Podcast will relive those memories through the voices of those who were there.

Jim Law
Legendary Oak Hill High School and Taylor University football coach Jim Law joined the show. Coach Law is a member of the Indiana Football Hall of Fame, the Taylor University Athletics Hall of Fame, and the Grant County Sports Hall of Fame. Listen in to hear stories of his Oak Hill teams from 1963-1981, and how he turned Taylor University football into a winning program. Coach shared many lessons on coaching and life throughout the episode.

In this episode, Courtney shares stories from her senior year at Oak Hill that included her Indiana Miss Basketball award. Courtney details her recruiting journey and her All-Big Ten career at Purdue. Courtney (Moses) Delks Part 1 of 2
2010 Oak Hill graduate Courtney (Moses) Delks joined the show to discuss her historic athletic career at Oak Hill High School and Purdue University. In the first of her two episodes, Courtney discusses her upbringing in the Oak Hill community. From winning the Punt, Pass, and Kick state championship as an eight year old to being Grant County's all-time leading goal scorer in high school soccer, Courtney covers her wide range of athletic accomplishments. We spend time covering her first three years of high school basketball as Courtney shares stories of the back-to-back state championship game appearances against Heritage Christian. The second episode will highlight Courtney's senior year at Oak Hill, her Miss Basketball award, Purdue highlights, and the foundation of her basketball training academy, CTA.

Ryan Spaulding
The 2012 Oak Hill graduate owns over a dozen school records in baseball and was a key member of two basketball conference championship teams. Ryan was a 4x all-state selection in baseball in high school and went on to become an all-conference infielder at Ball State University where he started over 200 games and was named captain of the Cardinal team. Listen in to hear Ryan talk about the special memory of hitting two home runs on Mother's Day in college, and the advice he would give to any kid interested in playing D-1 baseball.

Perry Frank
1974 Oak Hill graduate Perry Frank joined the show to discuss his basketball career. Perry was named conference player of the year in 1974 when he led Oak Hill to a conference championship. He went on to become the leading scorer in Marion College (IWU) history. Perry shares stories of playing for Coach Jack Keefer and the large crowds that followed the Oak Hill basketball team.

Marcus Hall
2001 Oak Hill graduate Marcus Hall joined the show. The all-conference football and basketball player shared stories of that memorable 2001 basketball season that saw the Eagles come up one game short of the state finals. Monte Towe
The 1971 Oak Hill graduate joined the show to discuss his stellar athletic career at Oak Hill, North Carolina State, and with the Denver Nuggets. Monte reflects on his 18-0 record as Oak Hill's starting quarterback, the 1971 Oak Hill Basketball regional championship team, and his great teammates in high school. Hear Monte share stories of his 1974 NC State national championship season and lengthy coaching career. Most of all, listen how Monte shares his affection for the Oak Hill community and his hometown of Converse, Indiana.

Janae Moffitt
2015 Oak Hill High School graduate Janae Moffitt joined the show to reflect on her incredible athletic career. The former Golden Eagle athlete won the Indiana high school state championship in the high jump in 2013 and 2015, and was named Miss Indiana Track and Field for the 2015 season. At Purdue University, Janae was a 3x All-American and won multiple Big Ten Championships in the high jump. She finished her career by transferring to Indiana Wesleyan University where she won the NAIA National Championship in high jump.

Dave Spargo
He set school records in Baseball, Football, and Track and Field. 1983 Oak Hill High School graduate Dave Spargo joined the show to talk about the 1982 state championship football team, being on the first baseball team to win sectionals, and setting a school high jump record that stood for 30 years. We also talked about his college recruiting journey and how his first at-bat against Arkansas set the stage for his successful college baseball career.
