Deranged Fangirl Live

So we're coming to the end of the Deranged Fangirl Live series. But I'm sure its not a terribly big deal in the grand scheme of things. However, until the very end I will have some topics for you. This week is Never Dead, Silent Hill Downpour, the new Devil May Oink, which is a flaming mess now by the way. And thank you Crapcom for another craptastic game! And over the summer I got Dante's Inferno... Ugh... Never again in life! Enjoy!

Remember when I was all excited for Shadows of the Damned and how happy I was that Shinji Mikami was collaborating with Suda 51? Remember when I said it was going to be super hot? Well it was good, but its got some hair curling imagery, hyper foul language, and tons of sex/ penis jokes. Which compared to the other two things, the sex and penis jokes were the least of my complaints. It's the imagery that has me needing the number to a good psychiatrist. Apart from Shadows of the Damned, I also talk about FINALLY finishing Bayonetta. Which was a bit of an accidental finish, but I'm glad I got something off the back burner, finally at last! And I also talk briefly about Duke Nuke 'Em Forever and the travesty that ensued. Enjoy while I go find something over the counter that cures Post Traumatic Stress Disorder...

So E3 is over and my first Florida convention experience is about to begin. It's a busy time in Deranged Fangirl land. Ugh, I had to take Yoshihiro, my laptop, to Worst Buy to get his fan issues sorted out. That will take 2 to 4 weeks, so in the meanwhile I have to use my other laptop Melchior. The problem with him is he sometimes makes my podcasts skip-tastic. However, we're going to put on a brave face and work with Melchior until Yoshihiro comes back. In this episode I talk about Babalities on Mortal Wombat, then I talk about... I think I talk about... I'm drawing a blank here, but I do talk about Dead Rising 2 with the dude from the first game in it. I also talk about Call of the Dead, which looks a mess, then I talk about the Resident Evil GC remake and how I realize that I don't really like it as much as the original. Enjoy! I know what you're thinking. What the hell kinda title is this?! But I call Mortal Kombat Mortal Wombat and also I talk about Shadow of the Damned too, hence the title, Shadow Of The Wombat. I also talk about the new PSN game A.M.Y, which promises to be good, so long as PlayStation can keep their network from getting hacked into like a Christmas ham. Plus I also talk a tiny bit about Dead Island. Don't ask my why I keep looking at those trailers, cause they're all so terribly depressing. Enjoy!

Nothing get's me angrier faster than people doing stupid things to the things that I love. So when I heard about North American Tour 2012, I instantly got incensed. This piece of crap FPS is designed only to generate sales by inciting outrage among parents groups and politicians who demonize all video games as violent children destroying wastes of time, when video games are not like that at all. If you're going to make an FPS do it without trying to generate sales via pissing people off or exploiting those who have been injured or slain in these kinds of tragedies. And for the record, you have me livid, because you're making all games look bad, and you have a serious REPEATED junk punching coming to you! Why don't you make an FPS of me punching you in in junk, so SOB's! Also this show is about watching someone play Alundra really badly on Youtube. Questioning why Duke Nuke 'Em is still trying to come out and the Amnesia expansion pack of horror. Why did I look at that knowing how horrified that game makes me? Enjoy!

Hey gang. Sorry its been over a month, but I'm in the home stretch with school (my final three weeks) and its been hard to balance school work, let alone school work and stuff I like to do. Plus its not like the video game scene has been chalked full of goodness lately. So with these two things happening you get a lame show like tonight's show. Yes, after nearly a month I have the nerve to come back with a sucky RE only show! I'm sorry, but I've been stuck in Resident Evil land for the last month, so just count your blessings... At least its something. This episode is all about games that I find creepy. I start off talking about Dead Space 2, then talk about the trailer for a new zombie game called Dead Island (Which I don't even know why I looked at that crap?!), and I talk about Catherine, which isn't a "survival horror" game in the sense that you're running and shooting monsters, its a little more psychological, which can be a lot worse sometimes (Silent Hill 2 I'm looking in your direction)! Lastly I talk about my disgust with motion controllers... Sigh... I don't even know. Enjoy!

Ah the first episode of 2011 and of course there is nothing to talk about. I do manage to squeeze out a few meager topics, like Dead Space 2, playing pinball in Gaia, and my hopes the impending Silent Hill 8. But really its been pretty dead in video game land which kinda blows. Even though there are not much in the way of topics, this show is rather crazy. Enjoy!

Tee-hee, this is what happens when you don't eat all day and try to post an episode. You end up putting the wrong one up. But I got it right this time. Remember kids, low blood sugar is bad for you! I got Castlevania for Christmas and it was good... But... Well you'll see. And I also actually attempt to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma during this episode. I'm back and in sunny (and cold) Florida. This week I talk about a few games. Never Dead, which is a typical Aa-chan favorite type of game where you shoot monsters and blow up stuff. Same thing with Knight Contract, but I'm not sure about that game 100% yet. And I also talk about the new Resident Evil CG movie that's about to come out. That looks really good, considering its part of the Res franchise and everything. Enjoy!

Yup this is my Castlevania Lords of... Lords of.... Oh Shadow... Oh good lord... I'm dying to own this game, yet I can't remember the title. OH that's sad. But anyway, In addition to Castlevania LoS going around, I also talk about the new Bonk game (yes Bonk is getting ready to come back around), I talk about the new Ys Oath In Felghana, plus I slam Halo (again), and I talk about Metroid Other M. So its a mixed bag of stuff in here this week. Enjoy! Oh yes, I'll post this up every week until it happens but the week of November 14 to the 20th, I'll be out of the country for vacation.

Today's episode is a mixed bag. I talk about a lot of little games well sorta... I talk about Echochrome 2, which is a super amazing puzzle game. Then I talk about Frozen Colony. Another amazing game, but get this, its a 1st person shooter, computer, and a space marines game. And I actually like it! So there must be something special there. Then I talk about Shining Hearts, a cute little J-RPG and my lack of an opinion for Mega Man Universe. The last thing I talk about is the collective meltdown of the Devil May Oink fans. It is super hilarious and I can't help but laugh, because I've been through this very same disappointment twice now, but I don't think I melted down as bad as these kids do. Enjoy! OH this has been an excellent Tokyo Game Show. Its been awhile since I've been so Elated with the new games on the horizon and I'm not just talking about the new Castlevania this time. There's Catherine (which I did not explain well), Cube Fights (or something like that I can't remember the title), Deus Ex, which I didn't talk about long, but that looked hot. I guess Metal Gear Rising, but that series fell off so bad... Its such a shame. Then there were the surprises like the new Devil May Oink and my new squee game, Shadows of the Damned. Bless you Tokyo Game Show 2010. You made my weekend! Enjoy... Oh and there is a moment where I'm watching the Shadows of the Damned trailer and its all distorted. I do apologize about that. Yes, surprise, surprise, I came back as I said and I have a good show for you all this week. This week the topics are the game Prejudice, Dead Rising 2, Kitten Blade, Tokyo Game show will be next week, so I am excited for that. And Ugh....
