The world gives you plenty of reasons to be cynical. The news, politics, social media, the relentless pace of change — it all adds up. And honestly? The cynicism isn't always unfounded. But what if choosing idealism isn't naivety — it's a strategy? In this episode, I break down the AI and jobs conversation without the doom or the blind optimism. Yes, the shift will be hard. Yes, real displacement is coming. But hard doesn't mean bad. AI paired with robotics and thoughtful design could eliminate dangerous, degrading work — keeping our streets clean, our infrastructure maintained, and freeing human energy for things that actually matter. We also talk about what idealism does for your mental health, why cynicism — even when justified — is a trap, and why the "Design More" mindset exists at the intersection of hope and rigor. You don't get to be naive. You need data, testing, and honest feedback. But you also don't get to give up on building something better.
