Seabass Boots is an honest documentary series about the lives of Russian-speaking people in Texas — from immigration, adaptation, and culture to work, business, and everyday life without filters. We show America the way immigrants truly see it. In 2024, journalist Yury Dud released the documentary “Texas — The New Center of Power.” We — participants of that film and friends — decided to continue the story ourselves. There’s so much more to tell: about people with rare professions and unconventional businesses, about everyday life and cultural contrasts, and about how “our people” live, work, and dream under the Texas sun.
