Episode 14 - Welcome to another exciting episode. This episode I talk about how I went to Torg Gaming Expo in Columbus, OH to meet the voice actors for Halo. I got to meet Master Chief, Cortana, 343 Guilty Spark and the multiplayer announcer. I also went around the expo and explored all the vendors to which I picked up a couple of games I was looking for. The vendors were 80% video games and there must of been over 100. Plenty to see and buy. I also review a new beer from War Pigs Brewing called Blinding Light Show. - brewed with orange and lemon peels. It is a hazy and it weighed in at 7.5% ABV. Episode 13 - Welcome to the latest episode. It was a very surprising weekend if you watched the Halo World Championship and saw the ViDoc video at the very end of the tournament with the head of 343 making an appearance. Now 343 Industries is Halo Studios. In this episode I talk about how I feel this will be a good thing for the Halo franchise and also why the studio name change, the changing of the engine to Unreal Engine 5 and also the future of Halo. I also try out a new beer from New Belgium Hoppy 12 Pack. It is the Electric Thunderclap IPA. This beer is probably just a limited one they sell in their Hoppy variety pack. Episode 9 - Welcome to this latest episode. Microsoft recently had a business update to qualm all the rumors that had suddenly took off about Xbox exclusives going to other platforms. It was an update they wanted to do later in the month of February but with those rumors really taking off they knew that had to address them sooner than later. I watched the 23 minute podcast and this is my reaction to it. The beer I will be trying is For the Best by Blackstack Brewing. It is a west coast style IPA and it weighs in at 7% ABV. It does have an experimental hop called Experimental HBC 1019 in the IPA and I am curious to see if I can taste it or how does that taste with Mosaic and Idaho 7 along side it. So I talk about the pros and cons I feel have an effect on both subjects. This game was nominated for Game of the Year after it was released and became a Must Play game by critics. Does this game live up to that hype and is it worth playing? Welcome to Episode 6 - In this episode I finally got around to playing Darkwatch for the Original Xbox. This has been a game I have been sitting on for awhile now and it was recommended by the gaming community as a hidden gem that people need to play. I know this has been a topic that has been going far too long that it should. I am now glad it is over and I talk about that in this podcast. Welcome to Episode 3 - In this episode I got the chance to go to my first con which was Twin Cities Con. I was able to experience this with my wife and brother in law. It was so much fun, I didn't even know what to expect. We all got the VIP pass because that pass got us a photo and autograph with Kevin Smith! We didn't dress up but plan to next year. It was really neat seeing all the costumes and booths of merchandise they had. It was totally a geeks place to be! We plan on going back next year now that we know how cool and fun cons are!
