Episode 1: T. Martin Bennett - Timeless lessons from Wounded Tiger

Wounded Tiger recounts the incredible story of the transformation of Mitsuo Fuchida, the Japanese pilot who led the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. In episode 1 of the 21st Century Blues podcast, I had the honor of interviewing T. Martin Bennett, the author of the non-fictional novel Wounded Tiger: The Transformational True Story of the Japanese Pilot Who Led the Pearl Harbor Attack, originally published in 2015. Martin tells us more about the novel’s core messages of transformation and learning to have empathy towards one’s enemies rather than hostility and resentment. These themes are particularly relevant in today’s contentious times when we’re divided every step of the way over the most miniscule issues despite often finding much more common ground than these manufactured divisions unfortunately have us believe. Hence Bennett’s Wounded Tiger upholds timeless lessons that we should all attempt to apply and embody if we’re to successfully heal the divides and emerge stronger through these troubling times. The audiobook version of Wounded Tiger is complete and should be available on Audible shortly. In addition, a film adaptation is also currently under development; you can learn more from Martin in the interview and/or watch the trailer linked below. www.woundedtiger.com https://www.amazon.com/Wounded-Tiger-Transformational-Japanese-Nonfiction https://youtu.be/WLZ0V42MVXo #woundedtiger #pearlharbor
