All-new season 2 of 240ft Around the Diamond starts with episode one featuring hall-of-fame high school coach Mike Green. In discussions with Carlos and Brian, Mike shares his perspective on high school sports, softball, and life with a college athlete.

In this episode Carlos and Coach Pete talk with the 12U players of Bombers Elite Softball about their thoughts on first travel tournament of the 24' spring season to Jennie Finch in Flemington, NJ.  Some of the players answers some questions about their future goals and how they have delevoped as players. URI committ Giuliana Ialongo is in the lab talking about her decision to focus on trying to become a D1 softball player, her love for the game and the end of her high school / travel softball season.Closing out the this episode in the Around the Horn discussion with Carlos and Brian D'Amato, we field questions from our listeners. 

Episode 8 talks with Ponagansett softball players Senior Chloe Barber, Barry University commit and Junior Maia Salvo, Marist University commit about the start to the 2024 season and a reflection on their prior success. Carlos chats it up with Pilgrim High School players Senior Audra McDonnell and Juniors Marin Prest and Genna D'Amato, University of Bridgeport commit about being an underdog team this season after several years of being one of the DI favorites in the state of RI. Along with thier personal thoughts on how this season will look for the Pilgrim High School team. Pilgrim High School assistant Coach Peter Sell speaks with Carlos and Brian in this episodes Around The Horn discussion about why he choose to coach at Pilgrim High School while supporting his daughter Samantha Sell, Sophomore at LaSalle Academy  from afar.

In our Episode 7, we  talk to Coach Matthew Fletcher of the American International College. Coach Fletcher gives insight to AIC 2024 softball season and what has lead him to AIC in his prior coaching ventures. FastPitch Nation, Owner and Founder David Rocha talks about why he started coaching softball which has now lead to him owning and operating the largest softball only complex in the United States and his passion of softball. Coaches Brian D'Amato and Richard "Rick" Bigelli join Carlos in this weeks Around the Horn.

This episode we hear from local players Sydni Bigell of Florida National University, Madison D'Amato and Sydnee Perreault of University of Bridgeport, Dyonna Rodas and her teammates Kaitlyn Shirshac and Hailey Lyons of UMass Dartmouth. These ladies discuss their current seasons goals, some personal reflection in their softball careers and some words of wisdom from thier personal softball journeys.

Episode 5 - RI High School Softball preview with Johnston High School Head Coach, David Iannuccilli and Cranston West High School Head Coach PJ Bessette. Coach Davvid Iannuccilli give us a Johnston High School Softball season preview with special guest players Senior, Arianna Velasquez and Sophomore, Haley Boudreau. Coach PJ Bessette talks about Cranston West Hgh School Softball season and new players coming up this season. We talk High School softball past, present and thoughts on teams to watch this season.

In Episode 4, we talk with Lou Bishop founder of Blue Chip Softball regarding his softball journey and new mergers with Triple Crown Softball and Impact Gold. Stacey Mayer, Head Coach at Assumption University joins us in studio to discuss the Greyhounds upcoming season and her softball career leading up to coaching.

In this episode we talk with Jill Karowski, former Providence College Softball Head Coach founder of the Softball Climate. Jill discusses her softball career as an athlete and a coach as well as her focus with the Softball Climate. An in-depth conversation Connecticut Impact Coach and Assistant Coach at Western New England University Coach Mike Santiago. Mike discusses the landscape of his softball coaching career and the successful journey the CT Impact has head since it was formed. Head Coach Lance Leduc of Killingly High School talks about the upcoming season and his community involvement to help develop youth softball in Connecticut. 

In Episode 2, iconic coach Neil Swanchak of the CT Charmers  discusses with the show his legendary softball journey and future plans.   Adam Laliberte of Fairfield-Ludlowe High School shares with the show his current CT High School experience and success along with his outstanding mark on softball in Rhode Island High School and travel. Also in this episode we begin our Rhode Island High School Softball preview with an around the horn sesssion with headcoaches Bill Aquilante (North Kingstown HS, Divison I), Mo Jackson (LaSalle Academy, Divison I), Mike Calenda (Ponaganset HS, Divison II) and myself Carlos Rodas (Pilgrim HS, Divison I).
