4th and 3 Dudes

In our last episode of this season, we talk a little about how college football...the game we love... has gotten to where it is now. Berniedawg found a podcast called Who Killed College Football (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/who-killed-college-football/id1769539642) that helps lead our discussion of what has happened and what we think could help moving forward.

We are still getting used to no college football being on TV... But we take some time to talk about some things we would like to see tweaked in the CFP's since we are sticking with the 12 team format for the next year or so at least. Plus we have a throw back to National Signing Day in 2012!

Indiana defeats Miami 27-21 in a much closer than many expected college football championship game. We talk about our thoughts on that game and also the transfer portal gains and losses for the Dawgs and Beavers.

Ole Miss came up just short against Miami in the Fiesta Bowl and Indiana absolutely destroyed Oregon in the Peach Bowl. We talk about those and our thoughts on the championship game! And it is episode 38 even though I might have said 37...

Well it was definitely not the outcome the 2 of us were hoping for, but the UGA vs. Ole Miss game was by far the most competitive game of the quarterfinals. We talk about that and the other games before looking ahead to the CFP semi-finals.

The first round of the CFP is done. We welcome Ainsley back onto the podcast as we discuss those games, some of the bowl games that have happened so far, and predict what we think will happen in round 2 of the CFP!

Well it was a great Championship Week for the Dawgs. Now it is time to get down to business. We chat some about other things in the news, but then give you our picks for the entire CFP bracket! And we have a new special guest join the show!

Well it was certainly not the prettiest win of the year for the Dawgs, but a win is a win! We talk about that and the merciful end of the Beaver's season. But there are some good things coming for Oregon St.! Then we look ahead to Conference Championship weekend along with the coaching chaos of the past weekend!

Beavers were off and Georgia rolled on by Charlotte. We will discuss that and some other games from the past week before looking at the game against Georgia Tech in the Benz this Friday!

It was a fantastic night in Athens this past weekend! The Dawgs told all of college football to stand up and pay attention with a huge victory over Texas. The Beavers fall deeper into misery after losing to Tulsa... We also talk about looking ahead to the CFP! Let's get after it!

The Dawgs put together their most complete game of the season and don't have to sweat the 4th quarter this week. On the other hand, the Beavers special teams prove to not be the right kind of special this week and give the game away to Sam Houston!

It was a great weekend for the 4th and 3 Dudes crew! Not only did UGA win the WLOCP, the Beavers took out their PAC-2 partners and rushed the field! Let's talk about it!

We survived the bye week and now get read for the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party! There were a lot of crazy games from this past weekend to talk about as well. And the Beavers play their 1st, and possibly only, conference game of the year against Wazzu this week. Let's get into it!!

What a week! The Dawgs outlast Ole Miss in Athens this past weekend. And low and behold, the Beavers get their first win of the season with an amazing 2nd half! Join us this week as we welcome in The Wrangler as a special guest as we talk about football, tailgating and favorite football trips in the past!

Well pretty sure all UGA and Auburn fans will be talking about whether or not that was a fumble at the end of the 1st half for years to come. The ball went the way of UGA and so did the 2nd half! The Beavers were not so lucky... Let's talk about it!

2 Dudes took a show trip to Boone (and Bristol) to watch the Beavers take on App State. Hear the recap of that trip and talk about how the Dawgs finally got off to a fast start and cruised to a victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Dawgs still are unable to find a way to get past Bama. The Beavers have their best performance of the year, but come up just short in OT. Lots of other big games to talk about plus news on a SHOW TRIP!!

Sorry that it's been a while, but a lot of "life" intervened since early December. But we are back and talk about our overall impressions of the playoffs along with what we liked, what we didn't and what we would like to change - if we had that power! And we talk about some of the games too...!

The Dawgs faced off against Texas for the second time in Atlanta this past weekend, and much like the first time, the Dawgs came out on top! We went into OT, but luckily it only took one. The win comes at a cost with both Beck and Thorson likely out for the season. But there are plenty of good things to talk about as well!! Plus we are the #2 seed in the CFP!

How 'bout them Dawgs!! If you were like many UGA fans, you probably thought the game was over. Little did we know that Dan Jackson, CJ Allen, Carson Beck and Nate Frazier had other ideas...! An instant classic game of Clean Old Fashioned Hate!

Beavers rise up to win the PAC-2 championship and the Dawgs win, although with a few concerns primarily on defense. Our second run at recording the podcast this week finally took...!

Dawgs spotted the Vols an early 10-0 lead, but then they got going. The offense looked much better and the defense pitched a shutout in the 2nd half! The Beavers were not quite that fortunate getting taken out by Air Force... Let's talk about it!

Well it was not the result Dawg or Beaver fans wanted to expected. Dawgs perhaps looked worse in this game than they have in almost the entire Kirby era... Lets talk about it and look ahead to our "playoff" game against Tennessee this Saturday night!

Was it as pretty as we wanted it to be? Of course not. Did Beck play as well as he should? Of course not. But we did beat them Gators and any win over Florida is a good one. Let's break it down some and talk about what else is going on!!

To say that Dawg Nation is happy after the game in Austin this weekend would be an understatement for sure. The defense showed up and showed OUT! Lets talk about that and how the Beavers fared vs. UNLV!

Well the offense put up impressive numbers for the Dawgs, but the defense gave up way too many yards and big plays. But at least they still won. The same cannot be said for the Beavers. They did win almost every statistical category EXCEPT for the turnover margin...That'll get you every time!
