A Common Educator's Guide to an Uncommon Student's Experiences
by Giancarlo Stabler
Welcome to A Common Educator’s Guide to an Uncommon Student’s Experiences. Here, we discuss how factors outside of school influence and affect the way that students approach education and how student's experiences on-campus shape their education. One of the toughest challenges faced in education is the variety of student backgrounds that result in large variations in the perception of, valuation of, and approach towards education. These analyses have been compiled with the goal to help educators better understand the possible perspectives, goals, and needs of students, with the belief that better understanding of these factors will allow for better student outcomes.
