    Aaron and his new heart

    Aaron had a heart transplant in 2008 at age 15 following two cardiac arrests.     Alexis and her life saving Kidney swap

    Mary and Mikayla from the Sunshine Coast

    Mary and Mikayla are way too familiar with grief and loss. They lost their husband/father Rod to a brain haemorrhage at age 49 and sister-in-law/Aunty Toni also passed away age 44 and was a donor. Then the unthinkable happened and they lost their daughter/sister Georgia  from a brain bleed and she was also able to become a donor,Georgia collapsed while playing touch footy, Mary and Mikayla are strong and resilient and like to talk about the amazing gift of donation and how it has helped them through their grief.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

    Maddi from Cairns

    Maddi is in her early 20’s and is a proud first nations person. At the age of 11 she had to write her will due to a liver failure. She was given a lifesaving donation of a liver and has gone on to shine brightly in her studies and her own life goals.
