On our 30th episode of AHGSS, Daniel and Stew are joined by Helena TV Sportscaster Jack Marshall of SWX, ABC Montana, and Non-Stop Local. Tipping off with Carroll hoops, the Fighting Saints women and men enter the final week of the regular season moving in opposite directions(4:36). On the high school hardwood its the Helena Bengal boys and girls heading in the right direction, while the Capital Bruins appear to be a little lost(23:49). Finally the begin the quest for the best High School mascot in the Treasure State, as they whittle down the Class C region to 16(41:43).

On this episode of AHGSS Conlan, Daniel, and Stew get haircuts.... and talk some Helena sports.. They tip-off with Carroll Hoops(7:33), before handing out mid-season grades to all of the Frontier Conferences women's(19:55) and men's(36:49) teams, as well as mid-season Players of the Year. On the high school hardwood they breakdown the "Crosstown" beatdown Helena handed Capital in boys bball, and the Capital girls win over their rivals from HHS(64:09). The Capital High Bruins claimed their 13th Montana Class AA state championship in program history after defeating the Glacier Wolfpack 34-21 in the 2024 title game. Stewart Davis sat down with Head Coach Kyle Mihelish, Offensive Coordinator Matt Reyant, and Quarterback Merek Mihelish, to talk about the special season on an episode of "Cup of Joe", for KCAP Newstalk Radio. This week on a Conlanless episode, Daniel and Stew breakdown Carroll's 24-17 loss at Montana Western as well as the rest of the Frontier Conference matchups(3:18). They then give their final picks of the regular season, including a preview of #23 Carroll's finale at #8Montana Tech, as with a win the Saints can still clinch a share of the conference crown and a possible NAIA playoff berth(16:37). Moving to the high school gridiron they look at the postseason picture, as its down to the semifinals, and the Capital Bruins are still pursuin another state title(36:14).

This week Conlan, Daniel, and Stew kickoff with Carroll's 21-17 comeback win over Southern Oregon and the rest of the Frontier Conference Week 8 slate(5:36). They then preview and pick Week 9 in the Frontier, including the Fighting Saints showdown with #4 Montana Western(30:16). Onto the high school gridiron, the Montana Playoff's are off and running, with Helena High picking up an impressive win, while the Capital Bruins ready themselves for a postseason run after having a bye, and we say goodbye to the Vigilantes of East Helena(48:46). The Carroll Fighting Saints women are marching on! In this Conlanless episode Stew and Daniel talk Carroll Basketball as the women advanced to the NAIA national tournament for the 3rd consecutive year(can they get over the hump). Meanwhile the Carroll men's season came to an end in their national tourney...Also a coaching change is coming to Capital Lady Bruin Basketball, and the Helena Bighorns look to bring home the NA3HL national title at the Frasier Cup.
